Mu Tianchen’s First Abyss Assessment

Blood Nine is assigned to supervise Mu Tianchen for one month as part of the Nine Great Blood Gods’ evaluation. He equips Mu Tianchen for entry into a real A-level Abyss Passage and introduces him to the Legion’s equipment, defenses, and merit system. 87

After witnessing Mu Tianchen absorb and convert the energy of Abyssal Creatures, Blood Nine immediately reports the discovery to the Blood God Battalion and supports further testing. 88 89

Encounter with the Charm Emperor

Blood Nine and Mu Tianchen are attacked while attempting to leave the Abyss Passage. Both are injured by the Charm Emperor’s power, and Mu Tianchen carries Blood Nine out of the passage after Blood One intervenes. 91 92

While recovering, Blood Nine reveals that Mu Tianchen’s first assessment requires earning 200,000 Merit Points within a month. Mu Tianchen later completes the assessment with an excellent rating. 95 105

Protector of Blood Ten

Blood Nine joins Blood Three in guarding Mu Tianchen at the Abyss Passage after the Abyss identifies Mu Tianchen as a threat. During the Demon Emperor’s attack, he activates his Weapon Soul Avatar and places himself between Mu Tianchen and the strike. 96 102

He later accompanies Blood Eight as Mu Tianchen’s assigned protection during trips to Ming Capital, Shrek City, the Spirit Pagoda Headquarters, and the Advanced Spirit Ascension Platform. 120 127 143

Blood Nine assists Mu Tianchen and Blood Eight against the 90,000-year Vermilion Clear Ice Toad, using Mid-Air Strike in support of Blood Eight’s blade attack. 145

After being badly wounded by the invisible 95,000-year Shadow Leopard King, he is permitted by Mu Tianchen to absorb the creature’s spiritual energy first. The absorption upgrades his two yellow soul rings into purple rings. 148 149

Abyssal Emergency
