(Parody plot, changes belonging to the future, does not affect the main storyline.)
"Hiruzen Sarutobi, this issue absolutely cannot be ignored!"
A frail Shimura Danzō approached Hiruzen Sarutobi, his eyes as sinister as a hawk's. "That girl definitely knows secrets beyond our comprehension. Perhaps we can use this question to obtain things that could make our Konoha stronger."
Hiruzen Sarutobi nodded in agreement, walked up to Bai Lin, and said, "Bai Lin, how about you let me ask this question?"
Bai Lin frowned, unsure whether to refuse or agree.
After all, he was an existence belonging to this time period. Although he would certainly not hold Hiruzen Sarutobi and the others in high regard in the future, causing them to harbor resentment now might lead them to pull some strings before he had fully grown.
Fortunately, at this moment, the girl said indifferently, "This question cannot be used to ask about secrets, such as matters concerning strength or our identities, nor can it be used for questions I don't wish to answer."
Hiruzen Sarutobi fell silent, but Shimura Danzō was somewhat unwilling. "Hiruzen Sarutobi, the other party is just a brat. Although those eyes are strange, she isn't necessarily that strong. Now that our top combat powers in Konoha are all here, why not just..."
"Indeed, Teacher. Keeping her is absolutely beneficial to our Konoha and carries no harm." Orochimaru's golden vertical pupils flickered with greed as he licked his lips, his gaze locked firmly onto the girl's Rinnegan.
His words carried an undisguised fanaticism, and the cold, chilling aura surrounding him made the air grow thick.
For Orochimaru, who was obsessed with forbidden jutsu and the mysteries of life, the girl's eyes were the perfect "research specimen."
"Shimura Danzō, Orochimaru, stop!" Hiruzen Sarutobi reprimanded sharply. "She harbors no malice. How can we commit such despicable acts for the sake of power? This violates the Will of Fire!"
"The Will of Fire?" Orochimaru sneered. "Teacher, your benevolence will only plunge Konoha into crisis. The other party might not be a threat to Konoha now, but what if she joins another hidden village? We absolutely cannot just let her leave."
Shimura Danzō immediately chimed in, "Orochimaru is right! Hiruzen Sarutobi, you are too indecisive!"
"Her threat might be no less than that of any Tailed Beast. If we can control her in advance, or learn some secrets, our Konoha will no longer fear the threats of other ninja villages."
The two sang in harmony, staring at the girl in mid-air with burning eyes, like hungry wolves eyeing their prey.
The surrounding Konoha high-ranking officials had varied expressions; some were hesitant, others tempted, clearly swayed by the suggestion.
Bai Lin frowned tightly and quietly pulled Kushina and Tsunade back.
However, when he grabbed Tsunade, she showed signs of resistance.
Bai Lin had no choice but to whisper in her ear, "I know who she is. She has a connection to you. Leave here with me now, or you will absolutely regret it."
Hearing this, Tsunade could only follow Bai Lin as they retreated.
"Heh, you want to keep me?" The girl suddenly chuckled. "Just by relying on you ants?"
The girl flew into mid-air and raised both hands.
"Almighty Push!" (Shinra Tensei)
"Oh no!" Seeing this, everyone cried out in alarm. It was clear the other party intended to unleash a powerful technique, and they quickly fled in the opposite direction of the girl.
A terrifying repulsive wave erupted instantly from the girl's body, spreading outward with her as the center.
The Konoha high-ranking officials who couldn't escape in time screamed repeatedly as they were blasted away by the repulsive wave. The ground for several kilometers around seemed to be pushed aside by an invisible barrier, and the dust and smoke filled the air, blotting out the sun.
Tsunade was held tightly by Bai Lin, barely managing to steady herself. Looking at the scene before her, her face turned deathly pale.
A deep crater several kilometers wide had appeared on the ground. Such destructive power could only be caused by her grandfather, Senju Hashirama. She had never expected a twelve-year-old girl to possess such strength.
If a jutsu of this magnitude were released in the center of Konoha, the entire village would likely be destroyed.
Fortunately, they had already retreated several kilometers away; otherwise, she dared not imagine how severe their injuries would have been.
She looked at Bai Lin with gratitude, but Bai Lin only gave her a helpless smile.
"What... what kind of jutsu is this?" Kushina hugged Bai Lin's body tightly, her face pressed against his chest, her voice trembling.
She could feel the aura of despair contained within the repulsive wave, as if the entire world were collapsing.
Bai Lin raised an eyebrow. He hadn't expected this girl to know Pain's Shinra Tensei, and she had mimicked it perfectly!
He didn't even need to doubt anything anymore; this girl was definitely inseparable from him, and in all likelihood...
"Hello! We meet again!" The girl's figure appeared in front of Bai Lin and the others.
"We harbor no malice toward you, so please show mercy." Tsunade stepped forward, shielding Bai Lin and Kushina behind her.
"Don't worry, I have no malice toward you." The girl stuck out her tongue, though a sly smile curled the corners of her lips.
"Tsunade, stand down!"
Bai Lin straightened his clothes and pulled Tsunade behind him.
"Bai Lin, you..." Tsunade still wanted to dissuade him.
He walked up to the girl, a gentle smile on his face, and reached out to pat the girl's head of his own accord.
To the surprise of Tsunade and Kushina, the girl showed no signs of resistance.
"How many mothers do you have?"
Bai Lin asked a question that left both Tsunade and Kushina utterly bewildered. Just as they worried the girl might take offense—after all, who asks someone how many mothers they have for no reason?
Was this not essentially an insult to someone's mother?
Yet, the girl simply tilted her head, lost in earnest thought. Her pale yellow hair cascaded over her shoulders, and her Rinnegan shimmered with a playful glint.
"Mothers, huh? Guess?"
"Guess your head!" Bai Lin pinched her cheeks, feigning anger.
"Bai Lin, don't..." Tsunade cried out in alarm.
She was terrified to see Bai Lin acting so recklessly, committing such an impudent act against the girl.
"It's a secret, I won't tell you." The girl stuck out her tongue and used a controlled Shinra Tensei to push Bai Lin away.
"Rebelling against the heavens, are you? Watch me teach you a lesson!" Bai Lin rolled up his sleeves, ready to discipline her.
The girl quickly flew into the sky, pulling a face to mock him.
"I'm going to find big sister to play, bye-bye!"
Watching the girl depart, Tsunade let out a long sigh of relief.
"You brat, do you have any idea how dangerous your behavior was just now!" A vein throbbed on her temple, marking her irritation.
"Relax, I know what I'm doing."
Bai Lin said calmly. The girl's behavior was the best news he could have hoped for; there was so much information to be gleaned. As for her identity...
Did it really matter?
He looked at the pale yellow hair on Tsunade's head and revealed a satisfied smile.
