Mangekyo Sharingan

The sky grew dim as branches intertwined in the dense forest, where Uchiha Shisui sprinted through the trees, carrying the unconscious Pakura.

His footsteps were light and swift, the sound of the wind he stirred up cutting clearly through the quiet woods.

Not far behind, Jiraiya followed closely using the Body Flicker Technique, his long robes snapping in the wind.

In the midst of this tense journey, Uchiha Shisui shuddered violently, suddenly feeling a searing heat erupt from deep within his eyeballs.

Immediately after, his pure black pupils underwent a transformation; the Three-Tomoe Sharingan manifested, and to his shock, the tomoe seemed to come alive, slowly beginning to merge.

"This is! Is this the precursor to awakening the Mangekyo Sharingan?"

Uchiha Shisui came to an abrupt halt, stumbling as he nearly fell. He quickly covered his eyes with his hands, his voice filled with shock and disbelief.

Seeing Uchiha Shisui stop without warning, Jiraiya grew alert and quickly leaned in to check on him.

"What's wrong, Shisui?"

Jiraiya asked with a furrowed brow, his tone a mix of concern and confusion.

Uchiha Shisui took a deep breath, slowly lowered his left hand, and forced his face into a mask of calm before shaking his head. "It's nothing."

But he knew in his heart that this would be a major turning point in his quest to unify the Shinobi World; for now, however, he did not want Jiraiya to know the secret of his eyes.

After a brief rest, Jiraiya took the initiative to help Uchiha Shisui by carrying Pakura on his own shoulders.

Just as the two were about to resume their journey, a rustling sound echoed through the forest behind them.

Not long after the sound faded, a dozen Sunagakure Ninja appeared in the line of sight of Uchiha Shisui and Jiraiya.

"Shisui, you retreat first! I'll hold them off."

Seeing the aggressive posture of the Sunagakure Ninja, Jiraiya knew that if they both tried to run, casualties were likely. But if one person stayed behind to cover, they could successfully escape. As one of the Sannin, fleeing was second nature to him.

"No, you retreat first! Leave these small fries to me."

Shisui slowly shook his head, his gaze filled with determination. Every word was squeezed through his teeth, carrying an unquestionable aura.

With that, he pulled his hand away from his eyes. Under the moonlight, two trails of blood tears slowly flowed from his sockets, winding down his cheeks and dripping onto the earth below.

At this moment, his Three-Tomoe Sharingan spun wildly, the once-separated tomoe nearly connecting, and a dangerous, powerful aura began to emanate from his body.

"This is!?" Seeing the chakra surging wildly around Uchiha Shisui, Jiraiya knew the Sunagakure Ninja were in for a disaster.

"Catch up once you're done. I'll wait for you at the border of the Land of Rivers!"

Jiraiya said, hoisting Pakura onto his shoulder before using the Body Flicker Technique to depart toward the Land of Fire.

Baki stepped out from the crowd, watched Jiraiya leave, and said to Uchiha Shisui, "One got away! And he even took that wretched woman with him. But she is just something the Kazekage discarded, so consider her a gift."

Uchiha Shisui looked at Baki, his previously cold face suddenly twitching before he burst into wild laughter, like a puppet controlled by its own emotions:

"Hahaha, hahahahaha! Your flaws will have nowhere to hide under these eyes!"

Uchiha Shisui slowly opened his eyes, his scarlet pupils appearing eerie under the moonlight.

The original Three-Tomoe Sharingan slowly rotated and merged until a complex pattern appeared within his pupils.

"What is this?"

The Sunagakure Ninja held their kunai, staring at the hysterically laughing Uchiha Shisui in confusion.

"Looks like he's been scared out of his wits! Attack! Kill him!"

Baki's initial vigilance faded; he assumed the man was laughing because he had fallen into a Konoha ambush.

Hearing the order, the Sunagakure Ninja unleashed their long-range attacks first, throwing a dense barrage of shuriken and kunai that surrounded Uchiha Shisui from every angle.

"Hmph, is this all you've got?"

Uchiha Shisui leaped forward, a purple-black Susanoo ribcage manifesting around him. The razor-sharp kunai and shuriken felt like nothing more than a light scratch as he deflected them all.

Breaking through the barrier of projectiles, Uchiha Shisui drew the ninja blade from his back, its edge gleaming like a reaper's scythe.

In just a few exchanges, the Sunagakure Ninja closest to Uchiha Shisui were stripped of their lives.

"So this is taijutsu enhanced by Lord Madara's ocular power! Truly formidable."

After finishing off a few chunin, Uchiha Shisui flicked the blood off his blade and analyzed the power he had just wielded.

"Kid, don't get cocky in front of me!"

Baki spun two wind blades in his hands and slashed horizontally at Uchiha Shisui.

However, the wind blades didn't even leave a white mark on the purple-black ribcage.

"Impossible! My technique can cut through solid granite!"

Baki was in disbelief, but with his extensive combat experience, he quickly widened the distance after the failed strike and began using long-range ninjutsu.

"Everyone! Unleash your ninjutsu together!"

"Wind Style: Great Sickle Weasel!"

The Sunagakure Ninja coordinated perfectly, quickly forming hand seals and puffing out their cheeks to exhale a massive cluster of wind blades toward Uchiha Shisui.

"Naive! Let me show you the third power! Susanoo!"

Blood tears flowed slowly from Uchiha Shisui's pupils. The original ribcage rapidly expanded into a half-body skeleton, followed by muscle and primitive armor, with a spinning purple-black Yasakani Magatama held in its hand.

The Great Kamaitachi collided with the Susanoo, leaving the surrounding area for dozens of meters completely devastated.

As the dust settled, the Sunagakure Ninja were left utterly dumbfounded; beneath that purple-black Susanoo, they felt like mere ants, their combined ninjutsu having failed to shake its position in the slightest.

"What is that thing..."

The Sunagakure Ninja were visibly overcome with terror, and they immediately began to flee in a rout.

Uchiha Shisui covered his eyes, yet he could not suppress the upward curve of his lips.

The arm of the Susanoo moved in one fluid motion, and the Yasakani Magatama struck the fleeing Sunagakure Ninja like a falling star.

"BOOM!"

Accompanied by intense fire and shockwaves, a massive clearing appeared before Uchiha Shisui, within which burned eerie and frigid Karma Flame.

"It's over."

Uchiha Shisui knelt on one knee, gasping for air as the Susanoo behind him slowly dissipated.

Hiss... that was still a bit of a stretch. The chakra stored in the Yin Seal is almost completely exhausted, and my emotions were surprisingly difficult to control just after awakening the Mangekyo Sharingan.

Uchiha Shisui covered his eyes, sensed the chakra within his body, and muttered to himself.

Uchiha Shisui scanned the battlefield, and seeing that there was no further movement, he retreated in the direction of the Land of Fire.

Not long after Uchiha Shisui had departed, a slab of earth was violently heaved aside, and Baki crawled out in a wretched state. Looking at the leveled area before him, shock, fear, and relief flickered across his face in rapid succession.

"What... exactly was that? It was actually on par with a Tailed Beast!"

Baki stood dazed for a moment before realizing he was still on the battlefield. He scrambled to his feet and fled toward Sunagakure, knowing he had to bring this intelligence back to the village as quickly as possible.
