The responsibilities and burdens Sasuke carried were far beyond what most people could imagine.
Just as Liuli was lost in thought, a familiar presence suddenly approached.
She looked up and saw Iruka walking toward her. Sasuke had already left.
"Good morning, Liuli-sensei! I heard you were a new teacher. The Third Hokage told me about you, and I came especially to look after Sasuke. I just watched you teach the students, and you did a great job."
Iruka greeted Liuli with a warm smile.
His eyes shone with approval and anticipation. Clearly, he thought highly of the new teacher.
Liuli was slightly taken aback, then quickly recovered and replied with a smile, "It's nice to meet you, Iruka-sensei. I'm Uchiha Sasuke's older sister, Uchiha Ruri."
Her voice was gentle yet firm, giving her a warm but dignified air.
Iruka was surprised to hear that. He hadn't expected the new teacher to be Sasuke's older sister.
He had once heard a little about Sasuke's family from the Third Hokage. He knew Sasuke's parents had died just a few days ago, and that only the two siblings remained in the clan.
Now, seeing Sasuke's older sister here—and seeing that she was a Konoha teacher as well—stirred complicated feelings in his heart.
"So you're Sasuke's older sister. I really didn't expect that," Iruka said with a sigh. "Sasuke is a very talented child, but he's also been through a lot of pain and hardship. As his teacher, I'll do everything I can to look after him and help him."
Liuli was deeply moved. She knew Iruka genuinely cared about Sasuke.

I hope my outfit will help the students see the many sides of being a ninja and understand the profession more fully."
A note of admiration flashed in Iruka's eyes as he listened to Liuli's explanation. He nodded and said, "Liuli-sensei, that's a very creative idea. We really should show the students the different sides of a ninja instead of limiting their view to combat and coldness.
"Your outfit suits your personal style, and it gives the students a fresh perspective, too."
Looking at Liuli with a serious expression, Iruka said, "Still, as the homeroom teacher, I have to remind you that during practical training, you should just spar lightly. Kiba's ninken generally aren't allowed to take part."
Liuli stared at him blankly, apparently confused by the rule.
She asked in puzzlement, "Huh? Why can't Kiba's ninken take part? Aren't they his reliable partners?"
This was her first time taking on the role of a teacher, and she wasn't yet familiar with some of the rules and restrictions for practical training.
Iruka patiently explained, "Liuli-sensei, I understand why you're confused. Kiba's ninken really are indispensable partners in battle, but we have some special considerations during practical training."
He paused, then continued, "First of all, the main purpose of practical training is to help students improve their ninjutsu skills and tactical awareness through simulated combat. If we let ninken take part, the outcome of a fight would often be influenced by the ninken's abilities instead of reflecting the students' own strength. That would make it impossible for us to accurately evaluate their progress and shortcomings."
Liuli nodded, seeming to begin to understand what Iruka meant. She continued, "But aren't ninken very useful in actual combat? Why can't they play a part in training?"
Iruka smiled and replied, "Liuli-sensei, you've brought up a very important point. Ninken are indeed very useful in actual combat. They can help ninjas with all kinds of tasks, including reconnaissance, attacks, and defense. But during practical training, we focus more on improving the students' individual abilities and training them to work as a team. If we let ninken take part, the students might rely too much on their strength and neglect their own growth and improvement."
He paused briefly, then continued, "Besides, the simulated battles during practical training usually take place in a relatively safe environment. Having ninken join in could increase the risk of accidents, such as injuring another student or causing other unpredictable situations.
"On top of that..."
Liuli was immediately speechless inside. She grumbled to herself, Wow, Iruka-sensei, you're making this explanation awfully long. Do you really have to go into this much detail? I only asked why, and you've given me a whole speech!
Though she thought that, Liuli maintained her obedient smile and nodded politely, as if she completely understood what Iruka meant.
"Mhm, mhm, mhm, mhm, mhm, mhm!" Liuli nodded furiously, took out a notebook and pen, and jotted it down.
Seeing Liuli nod, Iruka seemed satisfied that she understood. He continued, "Practical training is mainly meant to strengthen the students' individual abilities and teamwork. If we let ninken take part, their abilities would affect the outcome, and we wouldn't be able to accurately evaluate the students' performance."
Liuli continued grumbling to herself, Sensei, can't you put it more simply? You've said so much, I'm getting dizzy!
But she kept smiling and nodded in agreement.

She thought, The teacher is a bit long-winded, but he does have a point. Practical training needs to assess everyone's performance fairly and impartially.

The owner was a middle-aged woman with a full figure and a friendly smile that was always on her face. As soon as she saw Liuli, she greeted her warmly: "Oh, isn't that Liuli? What brings you out shopping today?"
Liuli was a little surprised, but still replied politely, "Yes, I had some free time, so I came out for a walk. Business is good at your store, ma'am."
The owner laughed delightedly. "Oh, it's nothing. You look lovely today, Liuli, and you've developed very well, too. Why don't you come into the store and buy some clothes?"
"Huh? Developed well?" Liuli glanced down at her own chest.
