Background

Liuli awakens as Uchiha Ruri in the aftermath of the Uchiha Clan massacre. With Sasuke as the only other known survivor, she resolves to protect him, train alongside him, and pursue vengeance for the clan. 2 3

At the Uchiha Estate, Liuli recognizes that her elite-chunin strength is inadequate for the threats ahead. Her two-tomoe Sharingan awakens shortly before the Insight Battle Realm System binds to her. 3 The system later grants her the Six Paths Sasuke template and Uzumaki Constitution. 4

The template merges Six Paths Sasuke’s memories and techniques with Liuli’s own mind. The system prevents those memories from fully overwriting her personality, allowing her to retain an independent identity while using Sasuke’s power. 6

During her confrontation with Itachi, Liuli identifies herself as “Sasuke” and describes coming from another world or future. She shows Itachi a vision of an Uchiha Clan that did not suffer the massacre, then leaves him to confront the implications of his past choices. 12 13
