Wang Sheng secretly knocked out Yan Xiaoyan and the two children, then stole spatial Soul Tools from them and other courtyards. To cover his actions, he injured himself and convinced Yan Lei that attackers had mistaken him for Yan Leiting, leaving Eldest and Second in grave danger.

• Wang Sheng emerged near Yan Xiaoyan, heard her and the two children worrying about him, then knocked them unconscious and took their spatial Soul Tools.
