A hero!?
Utaha Kasumigaoka gritted her teeth. What had Yukinoshita figured out, exactly, that made her use "hero" to describe that womanizing bastard, Sougo-kun?
But...
A hero?
Utaha Kasumigaoka thought back to when she first met Sougo Doma. Back then, Sougo-kun hadn't known who Utako Kasumi was, yet he had poured countless hours into writing a glowing review of Love Metronome and using it to promote the book. As a result, she had gone from facing cancellation to becoming a bestselling author...
And Sougo-kun, who had done all that, hadn't mentioned his own role at all. Instead, he had credited everything to that young lady with God's Tongue. If she hadn't happened to meet Sougo-kun back then, she might have given all the credit to that young lady, never realizing that Sougo-kun was the one who had truly helped her...
A hero? That idiot, Sougo-kun, really was like an unsung hero who quietly gave of himself.
And then there was what had happened to Fujimi Bunko.
Sougo-kun, pushing open the door to that little room...
A hero descending from the heavens!?
It really was an incredibly apt description. But...
Utaha Kasumigaoka gritted her teeth and said quietly to Yukino Yukinoshita, "Even if he is a hero, he's my hero!"
At those words, Yukino Yukinoshita lost herself in thought again. After a long pause, she said, "That's true. He's the hero I already missed my chance with..."
Yukino Yukinoshita's frankness left Utaha Kasumigaoka at a loss. She had thought Yukinoshita would trade a few barbs with her, but Yukino Yukinoshita wasn't playing by the usual rules. After hesitating for a moment, Utaha Kasumigaoka asked:
"What do you mean, you missed your chance?"
"Don't worry. I'll just say that I'm not the sort of person who gets involved in someone else's relationship..."
