Gilgamesh sat upon his throne, leaning to one side with his face propped on one hand, watching the two clay figures below with a faintly amused smile.
He knew what had happened that day. Annanu and Enkidu had caused quite a commotion in Uruk, and it seemed his city-state would need some time to adjust to these two strange fellows.
"Our question comes from the gods." Annanu gently shook his head, then floated upward until he was level with Gilgamesh.
Though he did not know why, he simply felt uncomfortable being looked down upon by Gilgamesh.
"War will kill your people and wear away your workforce. Why did you start a war?"
Gilgamesh: "...Before I answer that, may I ask why you're floating so high up while talking to me?"
Siduri also looked up at Annanu with a baffled expression.
Enkidu, however, knew why. He covered his mouth and chuckled, then floated up as well.

A crimson gleam flickered in his scarlet eyes.
"I am the king of Uruk, the ruler of this city-state. Because I wanted to do it, I did it." He spread his hands, a faint smile at the corner of his mouth. "Is there a problem with that?"
"That is the conduct of a tyrant," Annanu said with a frown. "And you have not answered my other question."
"Ha, a tyrant?" Gilgamesh seemed as though Annanu had amused him. "Even if I am a tyrant, I am Uruk's tyrant."
