By the next day, Fujimaru Ritsuka noticed that many more stalls had appeared along the village streets.
"Are they already preparing for the Mountain God Festival two days from now?"
Fujimaru Ritsuka walked down the street shoulder to shoulder with Sakumura Kanna, watching the bustling village at work.
"Yes. Normally, preparations would have started several days ago."
"After all, everyone lives in this village. They know everything about it, and most of them are helping out for free."

"I'll be going to the mountain gate tonight as well."
Fujimaru Ritsuka clenched her fist.
"Only with me there can Miss Yukina and Miss Bear Weaver fight at their full strength."
".Thank you for your hard work."
Kanna let out a soft sigh and gave Fujimaru Ritsuka a slight bow.
"It's nothing. Since I'm in the village for now and don't plan on leaving anytime soon, I'll help however I can. I was the same way back in my hometown."
Ritsuka smiled and waved her hand.
"Miss Ritsuka's hometown, huh... I'm a little curious."
"My hometown... Going by its current geographical location, I suppose it would be Edo?"
Fujimaru Ritsuka tilted her head.
As a girl from Tokyo, she did occasionally reminisce about her life back home.
It was just that life in Chaldea had been far too hectic, leaving her with barely any time to look back
