"I shall... raise." The decayed Poseidon continued in a rusty voice.
The woman with rose-red hair looked uncertainly at the towering figure in the sky, then glanced at the so-called Poseidon standing atop the city at the center of the vortex.
"What is going on? He's standing in the sky?" she stared in confusion.
"Hey! Boss! Are we firing the cannons or not?!" The first mate shoved the helmsman aside and took the wheel himself, steering through the raging waves as he shouted to the woman.
"Huh? What? Fire! Of course we're firing! Blast that city for me!"
"Wait." At that moment, the figure in the sky spoke.
He looked down at the ship beneath him, scratched his head, and chose to descend onto the deck.
"So tall! So muscular!" The rose-haired woman stared in amazement at the absurdly towering figure.
"I've got some history with that thing in the middle, so could you leave him to me?" The tall man smiled and pointed at the vacant-eyed figure in the center.
"Huh?"
"Well, never mind. I wasn't planning to wait for your approval anyway. Let me borrow your deck for a moment!"
As he spoke, the man took a massive blue longbow from his back, one that resembled an exquisite piece of coral.
"Hey! Big guy! Don't tell me you're planning to shoot him with a bow and arrow?" the rose-haired woman shouted at the tall man. "Arrows won't work. You'd be better off using our cannons—holy shit!"
