Finding a Way to Fight Back

But now, they no longer had Sakumura Anno to exhaust his Spirit Origin and perish alongside him.

Their current combat strength gave them little confidence in facing Oceannus head-on, so they had to buy some time.

For now, Fujimaru Ritsuka and Roman had discussed using the combined weakening effects of Asterios's and Lawrence's Noble Phantasms to leave Oceannus in a weakened state, then attempting to kill him in a single strike with Hijikata Toshizo's Noble Phantasm.

But that was not feasible.

Even counting Fujimaru Ritsuka's own enhancement magecraft, along with support from Mash, Francis Drake, and Euryale, Fujimaru Ritsuka still could not think of a way to deal with an enemy on Attila's level.

Perhaps they could try to find a way to counter him.

Based on their experiences in the previous two Singularities, once a powerful enemy appeared within a Singularity, the Counter Force would most likely deploy unaffiliated Servants who could assist them.

For example, when the evil Dragon Fafnir appeared in the France Singularity, the Counter Force summoned Siegfried. Although Siegfried returned to the Throne too early and never encountered Fafnir, they later met another dragon-slaying Heroic Spirit—Saint George, Georgios.

And in the Rome Singularity, where the enemies were the Divine Ancestor Romulus and numerous emperors, the Counter Force summoned Sakumura Anno and Jing Ke, who could deal greater damage to "kings."

There was no enemy that could not be countered. Every problem was bound to have an answer;
