"An enormous magical energy reaction detected—th-this is a Demon God Pillar!" Roman stared at the radar, his pupils shrinking as cold sweat streamed down his face. "It's far more powerful than it was during the Rome Singularity. Its total mass is even four to five times greater!"
"And there are four such reactions in total."
Chaldea fell silent.
Medea's Saint Graph seemed to be tearing apart, golden light spilling out from within.
Heracles, still in the seawater, was in the same condition.
"To avoid arousing your suspicions, Senior Oceannus, I did not place the vessel for the descent of the Demon God Pillars upon Lord Jason." A smile rested on Medea's face as it began to shatter. "But it was all worth it."
"So-called gods are only capable of that much. Senior, you who could kill a god—can you withstand four Demon God Pillars even stronger than gods?"
The moment she finished speaking, Medea's Saint Graph shattered with a deafening crash. Heracles's Saint Graph shattered as well.
And from those two Saint Graphs grew a familiar malice.
"This utterly nauseating magical energy signature... I suppose that's what one should expect from Demon God Pillars." Lawrence frowned.
Everyone, Lawrence included, felt deeply uncomfortable.
"Heracles..." Jason stared blankly as Heracles's Saint Graph was ripped apart, those disgusting, tentacle-like things growing from within. Boundless fury had already built up in his chest.
"Don't be angry. Leave it to me, junior." Oceannus patted Jason on the back in reassurance, then tossed him onto the Golden Hind.
The filthy, revolting Demon God Pillars had finished growing as well.
Their depth, their darkness, their terror—though it was Oceannus, even he felt a chill.
But—
"So you've finally come out. The things I've been looking for all this time." A relieved, exhilarated smile appeared on his face
