"Confirmed. Landing complete. Temporarily safe." After arriving at the London Singularity, Lawrence checked the surrounding area and let out a sigh of relief.
At least this landing had not immediately required combat like the Third Singularity had.
"What thick fog. Visibility is so low." Fujimaru Ritsuka surveyed the area. "Everyone, stay close together. Be careful not to get separated."
"Was this city's fog always this heavy?" Carmilla frowned. London was known as the City of Fog, but even in her memory, fog this dense was rare.
"Calling, calling. If you can hear me, please respond. Ritsuka, Mash? Are you there?" Doctor Roman's voice came through the communicator, sounding somewhat urgent.
"We can hear you, Doctor. Please don't worry, we've arrived safely at the Singularity." Mash replied to Roman.
"That's good. I'm locating your position now. The map system can still be activated, so give me a moment." Roman let out a breath and began studying the map. "Your current location should be Greenwich, London. The Thames River is three hundred meters north of you. Can you see it?"
"Unfortunately, we can't." A blood-red aura surfaced over Carmilla's body as she knitted her brows. "The fog here is extremely dense. We can see less than ten meters ahead, and there's something in the fog that feels deeply unpleasant."
"Could it be a magical energy response?" Fujimaru Ritsuka looked toward Lawrence. "Miss Lawrence, don't deploy your magecraft workshop yet."
"Understood." Lawrence nodded without moving.
She understood what Fujimaru Ritsuka was worried about. Carmilla would not feel uncomfortable for no reason. If there truly were magical entities nearby, Lawrence's magecraft workshop could very well alert them.
Roman immediately began scanning, but when he actually fed the magical energy radar's readings into the London Singularity, he froze.
"Roman? Did you find anything?" Lawrence asked
