Ch. 2019The Mountain God and Kurokawa Hideo Are Two Different Individuals
Fujimaru Ritsuka reasoned that Kurokawa Hideo and the Mountain God were separate beings, and that Hideo had taken Oda Nobunaga's power. As the Mountain God Festival approached, Ritsuka prepared for a difficult battle that night and went with Takasugi Shinsaku to carry the palanquin up the mountain.
- Fujimaru Ritsuka told Leonardo da Vinci and Lawrence that the Mountain God might be a separate being from Kurokawa Hideo, who he suspected had seized Oda Nobunaga's power.
- Fujimaru Ritsuka and Lawrence discussed the coming battle, the growing strength of the Chang Ghosts, and the danger that Yuna and Mama Bear would rush to attack Kurokawa Hideo.
- Fujimaru Ritsuka decided to have Yuna and Bear Weaver clear out Chang Ghosts before Hideo appeared and agreed to put his plan from the previous night into practice.
- Takasugi Shinsaku showed Fujimaru Ritsuka the palanquin that priests would carry up the mountain to bring the Mountain God's sacred body to the festival.
- Fujimaru Ritsuka looked over the village's preparations and left with Takasugi Shinsaku.
