Fantasy Crystal!
This is the upgraded, plus-version of Fantasy Power, and the second type of "currency" Su Yun designed within the system.
As a dev who loves to troll, Su Yun is quite proficient in designing in-game currencies; if he doesn't design four, five, six, seven, or eight types of currency for a game, he feels physically uncomfortable.
Bringing this habit into the real world, this second "currency," the Fantasy Crystal, was born within the system architecture.
In Su Yun's design, this currency serves a significant purpose: it acts directly upon the "Operators" he has selected.
For example, Artoria is an "Operator" chosen by Su Yun. Having already obtained transcendent power and possessing the potential for growth, Artoria must rely on Fantasy Crystals to achieve certain breakthroughs that shatter the boundaries of fantasy.
Of course, since the Fantasy Crystal is designed to be so powerful, condensing it is quite difficult. At the very least, although Su Yun has obtained some Fantasy Crystals, he is still far from condensing a single complete unit.
Expressed in numbers, it is 3/100.
Currently, three fragments of the Fantasy Crystal have been collected; once 100 are gathered, they can be condensed into one complete unit of Fantasy Crystal.
Mobile gamers would call this a pro move!
Of course, the system Su Yun cobbled together doesn't have such rigid settings; using Fantasy Power can also achieve breakthroughs and enhancements.
It is just as the saying goes: using only Fantasy Power for these tasks is the crudest and most wasteful method, resulting in a massive amount of meaningless consumption.
Every setting Su Yun has made is the most reasonable and economical application of Fantasy Power—though, naturally, he doesn't rule out the existence of better methods, but he cannot think of any. As a dev-dog, he only knows how to do things in the way he is most skilled at.
Real world, Supernatural Disaster Countermeasures Office.
Murata Himeko received real-time information from the intelligence department, and her pupils couldn't help but constrict: "The old man from just now... he is actually Mr. Li Shuwen!"
A hundred years ago, Mr. Li Shuwen was one of the martial arts instructors for several major military regions, and he is directly recorded in history books. As the Yingzhou Autonomous Region, which is full of admiration for the Flame Kingdom—despite the Flame Kingdom choosing a "cultural victory" while being fully capable of "martial victory"—the reverence for Li Shuwen here even surpasses that of the Flame Kingdom itself.
The textbooks here even include Li Shuwen's deeds, so Murata Himeko is well aware of Mr. Li Shuwen's existence.
"Can such a figure from the modern era also become a Heroic Spirit? If so, does that mean people from modern society can also become Heroic Spirits? If that is the case, when did this world lose its transcendence? What happened in between?"
She couldn't help but fall into deep thought. As the chief of the Countermeasures Office, her perspective is different from others.
As she followed this line of thought, the amount of information contained within it became immense.
However, the clues are still too few, and many things remain unclear. She must continue to learn more through the Light Screen to make new inferences.
Then, watching the situation in the Light Screen, Murata Himeko couldn't help but praise: "As expected of King Arthur, she is truly terrifyingly strong."
In the Light Screen, Saber slammed a fist into Lancer's chin—just as Lancer had adapted to her two-handed sword fighting style, she suddenly released her right hand after another clash and threw a punch at Lancer's chin.
In an instant, Lancer's handsome face was distorted, and the moment of impact even formed a sonic boom cloud, showing just how terrifying the power Saber exerted was.
After all, this is King Arthur. The idea that "corruption makes you three times stronger" is a joke; in reality, Nasu has long stated that the blue Saber in her prime is far stronger than her corrupted state.
What is happening in the Light Screen is merely a display of the true power of King Arthur when she acts as a Saber.
If there is anything you don't understand, refer specifically to the scene in the Fate/HF theatrical film where the corrupted Saber fights Berserker.
The true Saber possesses power even greater than the corrupted Saber—provided there is sufficient magical energy support.
Right now, Saber has Emiya Kiritsugu as her Master, and Irisviel assists in providing magical energy. The latter has an extremely special constitution and a vast amount of magical energy; with the two of them providing support, Saber can fight without any worries.
At this very moment, after being struck in the chin, Lancer's head was spinning, his defenses were wide open, and he revealed a massive opening, giving Saber a chance for a one-hit kill.
Therefore, in this instant, Saber had completely released the Wind King's Barrier from her Holy Sword. The Golden Sword bloomed with brilliant golden light, and magical energy surged; it was clearly a posture of maximum magical output, intending to finish the enemy in one strike.
Yet, at this same instant, Lancer's Master displayed his level as a top-tier mage, activating the Command Spell he had prepared long ago.
There was no need to issue a verbal order, because the Command Spell's command was pre-set; when Lancer's Master experienced a strong thought, it would activate directly.
Now, the Command Spell was activated.
"Escape from the jaws of death! Lancer!"
One of the three Command Spells held by Lancer's Master vanished instantly, triggering the power of the Command Spell.
A Command Spell named after a miracle can naturally create miracles.
Thus, the moment the Command Spell took effect, magical energy enveloped Lancer's entire body, and at a speed faster than Saber's slash, he teleported a hundred meters away in an instant, reaching a safe distance.
Saber's slash missed completely, carving a deep sword mark into the ground and sending sand and stones flying into the air, causing her expression to tighten: "Is this... the power of a Command Spell?"
This also allowed the audience to directly understand what had happened, and they immediately recalled the explanation regarding Command Spells that appeared in the Light Screen yesterday.
They can issue forced orders to a Servant, and since the Command Spell itself is a product of miracles, some miraculous commands can indeed be achieved.
So...
Is this a miracle?
Well... in terms of performance, it is indeed a miracle.
Lancer's Master also voiced his dissatisfaction at this moment: "Lancer, you have disappointed me too much!"
Having reached the safe zone, Lancer clutched his chest. There was a sword mark on his chest, a shocking, deep wound where the white bone seemed visible, and blood flowed from it; it was clearly left behind in that instant.
Even though he escaped using the power of the Command Spell, it still left him with a severe injury.
In this situation, although the healing spell of Lancer's Master was already taking effect and the wound stopped bleeding quickly, the injury was too severe to be recovered in a short time.
Lancer's face was etched with guilt. "I am deeply sorry, my liege. I have failed you. Saber, King Arthur, is truly as powerful as the legends claim..."
Lancer's Master replied, "Hmph, I can see that well enough."
His tone betrayed a heavy weight; clearly, Saber's strength exceeded all expectations. Was this the caliber of King Arthur? It was terrifyingly strong.
Real World—
People finally understood why the title of this Light Screen projection centered on King Arthur, declaring it King Arthur's Holy Grail War.
Such power was truly worthy of the title King of Eternity, and based on this performance, people had every reason to believe that King Arthur was the most likely victor of this Holy Grail War.
Now, the focus shifted to how Saber would secure that final victory.
Just as people were thinking this, a sudden change occurred in the Light Screen projection.
Blue lightning suddenly flashed across the sky with a thunderous roar, followed by the bellowing of bulls echoing from above.
The next moment, people saw a chariot pulled by two bulls tear through the clouds of the night sky and descend, charging directly into the harbor.
In that instant, the camera slowed, and the entire world saw the figures upon the chariot.
It was...
Rider, who had appeared in the Light Screen projection before, and his little weakling Master, Waver!
Everyone, I love you all, mwah~
