Under Teresi's repeated urging, the Zerg forces quickly withdrew from Varg's home planet. Those Zerg Hives that had only just completed their mutation also burst apart, turning into a rain of acid.
Ye Luo had originally thought Teresi might descend like a savior, seize the opportunity to announce the sins of the Varg military, and "convert" the Varg Civilization's "wise men" into serving him. But unexpectedly, Teresi had the army leave Varg directly.
Ye Luo stepped aboard Blade Blood's cruiser once more. Teresi and the others were already waiting for him inside the hatch. "Oh? Is this what they call a welcoming reception?" An inscrutable smile rested on Ye Luo's face.
Teresi's eyes shone as he looked at Ye Luo as though he were some priceless treasure. "Ye Luo, I heard from Farol that you have no intention of occupying planets and would prefer to convert all the payment from this mission into energy blocks. Is that correct?"
Ye Luo swept his gaze over everyone. Farol's eyes flickered, as though he wanted to convey something to Ye Luo. Amelia looked at Ye Luo, though it was impossible to tell what she was thinking. When Stanley, Padeli, and Feipulos met Ye Luo's gaze, they unconsciously looked away.
The Zerg had stunned everyone with their strength.
Ye Luo nodded. "That's right. For us Zerg, vast territory is nowhere near as good as tasty minerals!"
"Tasty..." Teresi paused in surprise before smiling. "It seems Zerg warriors truly have unusual preferences. Lord Ye Luo, in light of the Zerg's formidable combat power, we of the Alvin Civilization strongly recommend that you apply for fourth-level civilization status after the war. Although the Civilization Pact is not particularly binding, it would allow the Zerg to join the grand stage of interstellar civilizations and exchange what you
