Ever since subduing the Alien Queen, the aliens had made no particularly outstanding contributions within the Zerg ranks. After all, conquering cities and seizing strongholds still relied on high-level Zerg. The aliens' interstellar combat capabilities were abysmal, and once on the ground, the Zerglings' attitude of tearing apart everything, combined with their endless numbers, made them even more terrifying than alien assaults.
After all, aliens reproduced by devouring flesh and blood, and expanding their numbers took time. Zerglings, however, could be mutated in advance, or mutated immediately after establishing a Zerg Hive upon occupying the ground.
However, their previous lackluster performance did not mean the aliens' abilities were useless or worthless...
In the Tan/Sania Star Sector, aboard Nidhogg, Ye Luo gazed at the countless corpses floating around Global Starport, the flesh and blood scattered throughout the sky, and the turrets and warships lying silently in the harbor like stones, showing no reaction whatsoever to the arrival of the Zerg fleet. A sharp glint flashed through his eyes.
"Roar, roar, roar..." As the Ferrymen scattered and Nidhogg and the Zerg fleet behind it revealed themselves, an excited roar suddenly came from the distant colony planet. Immediately afterward, the Alien Queen's thirty-meter-plus body shot into the sky and flew toward Ye Luo.
Only when she drew close did Ye Luo discover that more than a dozen corpses were skewered on the Alien Queen's claws and tail. With a light flick of her tail and claws, those corpses drifted gently to one side. Meanwhile, she shrank into a tiny form less than a meter tall and wagged her head and tail before Ye Luo as though seeking praise.
From the planet where the Third Fleet had been stationed in the distance came the cries of countless aliens howling toward the sky.
