The Ironclad Octopus faced the Punishment Demon. Using the iron armor on its tentacles for defense, it forcibly caught the blades the Punishment Demon thrust out. Its eight tentacles were like eight arms wearing iron gauntlets; once they seized the Punishment Demon's spikes, they viciously bent them to the side!
The Punishment Demon's spikes could pierce battleship armor and were incomparably hard. But the harder they were, the easier they were to break. The inflexible spikes were bent by the Ironclad Octopus and immediately snapped at the roots!
Once more than thirty spikes had broken, the Punishment Demon became listless. Not only did its body shrink by half, but the number of spikes it could launch also fell to two or three. At that point, the Ironclad Octopus closed in, switched its tentacles into blade mode, and cleaved the Punishment Demon in two with a single strike.
When the Ultralisk encountered the Fierce Demon, they put on an equally matched battle. The Ultralisk's Soulbreaking Longblades posed some threat to the Fierce Demon's defenses, and as the Zerg's powerhouse, the Ultralisk was even stronger than the Fierce Demon. Its four Soulbreaking Longblades danced through the air as it traded blows with the Fierce Demon in a spectacular fight...
The only pity was that Fierce Demons had never been numerous to begin with, yet Ultralisks were even rarer. Since interstellar warfare rarely used Ultralisks to contend against starships outside of planetary campaigns, Ye Luo had not preemptively evolved many of them. After the Zerg Base had been taken by lightning assault, vast resources had fallen into the Protoss' hands, leaving Ye Chao without enough resources to evolve more Ultralisks. As a result, every Ultralisk had to fight two, or even three, Fierce Demons. Though they were immensely powerful, they were still forced
