A Letter to Readers for the New Year

I've wanted to write a novel for a long time, mostly because I've read so many that I couldn't help myself.

I've always loved reading fan fiction about Dragon, so that's where I decided to start.

I originally wanted to write this in November, but due to various reasons, I couldn't make up my mind; it wasn't until I caught COVID that I finally got the motivation.

At first, I wanted to title this book "Lu Mingfei Returning from the Decisive Battle with Aizen."

But then I discovered that Qidian already had a book about Aizen and Lu Mingfei, even if it was a soul-transmigration story.

To avoid the similarity in names, I changed it to the current title.

Beyond just wanting to see if I could write a book, I had my own ideas from reading other Dragon fan fics. I wanted to increase the screen time for many characters. Every fan fic has its own focus—some write more about Xia Mi, some about Chu Zihang, and of course, there's Erii.

I thought, why not give more screen time to others besides them? For example, Su Xiaoqiang, Suzy, or Yabuki Sakura.

Of course, the main characters will definitely have plenty of focus, but I also want to write about those who were just supporting characters in the original work.

That is the vision I have for this book.

I hope to write a story that blends slice-of-life with high-octane action.

Additionally, since this is my first time writing, I didn't know the ropes, and the book's performance has been terrible since it hit the library.
