I'd wanted to write a novel for a long time. I'd read so many that I could hardly keep myself from trying.
I'd always been fond of fanfiction based on Dragon Raja, so I decided to start there.
I'd originally planned to start writing in November, but for various reasons, I couldn't make up my mind. It wasn't until I came down with COVID that I finally decided to give it a shot.
At first, I wanted to call this book Lu Mingfei Returns from the Final Battle Against Aizen.
But then I found out that Qidian already had a book about Aizen and Lu Mingfei, even if it was a body-swap story.
To avoid having a similar title, I changed it to the one it has now.
Besides wanting to try writing a book, I also had some ideas while reading Dragon Raja fanfiction. I wanted to give more scenes to a lot of the characters. Every fanfic makes its own choices: some spend more time on Xia Mi, others on Chu Zihang, and of course there's Erii, too.
I thought I'd give some of the other characters more time in the spotlight as well, like Su Xiaoqiang, Suzy, and Yabuki Sakura.
Of course, the main characters will still get plenty of scenes. I also want to write about characters who were only supporting cast in the original.
That's why I decided to write this book.
I hope to write a novel that blends everyday life with high-energy action.
Also, since this is my first time writing a book, I didn't know much about how things worked. It hadn't even been in the new releases for many days before its numbers went down the drain.
