The next day, early morning.

Liber opened his hazy eyes, lifted his head, and scanned the unfamiliar surroundings with a look of slight confusion.

It took a moment of dullness before he reacted, "I almost forgot, I've already joined the Loki Familia."

Liber rolled out of bed, glanced at the rising sun, and began to wash up.

"I wonder what magic I've awakened. I should go find Loki and see," Liber thought while washing.

After tidying himself up a bit, Liber opened the door.

He stepped out of the room, arrived at the corridor outside, and strolled along it until he left the tower.

He walked onto a suspension bridge, a structure connecting the various towers.

As the headquarters of the Loki Familia, the base of Twilight Manor consisted of many towers linked together by these suspended corridors.

The lower parts of the tower spires were connected into a massive, unified whole, while the upper parts stretched upward into individual, sharp towers.

The middle section was a complex, crisscrossing network of corridors connecting each tower.

Liber walked along the corridor, casually observing the interior of the architecture.

"Morning."

Several Familia members, busy with their early morning routines, brushed past Liber and offered a casual greeting.

"Morning."

Liber responded politely and followed yesterday's route to find Loki's room.

He knocked on the door.

"Loki, are you in?"

"Who is it? Disturbing my rest so early in the morning—if it isn't something important, you'll have to Dogeza to apologize."

Loki opened the door with an impatient look, but she seemed surprised upon seeing Liber.

"I said I'd take you around to meet people, but I didn't say it would be this early."

"It's not that. I wanted to trouble you to update my status."

"You only received the blessing yesterday; usually, there wouldn't be any..."

Liber interrupted Loki.

"After I returned to my room yesterday, I used a Grimoire. I wanted you to take a look and see what magic I awakened."

Upon hearing this, Loki suddenly froze, then became excited.

"Quick, come in, take off your shirt. I thought your confidence came from your potential, but I didn't expect it to be a Grimoire. This is an even bigger surprise than I imagined."

After saying this, Loki pulled Liber into the room. She pressed him into a chair and happily began rummaging for the silver needle used yesterday.

Once she finally found the needle, Loki pricked her finger to let her divine blood seep out, and Liber took off his shirt to begin the status update.

"Hmm... hmm? Oh! A super convenient magic has appeared."

Liber took the updated status sheet.

Lv.1

[Levitation]

Magic

(Levitation) to objects and allows for manipulation.

[Magic Space]

Magic

a portable space that can be permanently expanded by consuming magic power.

"Creating a portable space... this is truly a convenient thing," Liber said with pleasant surprise after reading the status sheet.

"Right? Right? It really is super convenient. You need to grow quickly, you know. Although I don't know how big this magic space can get, it will be incredibly useful during expeditions once you've grown."

Loki leaned in close to Liber as he looked at the status sheet and said happily.

Liber said softly, "Expeditions..."

"Well, don't be in a rush. Based on your abilities, you'll definitely grow quickly enough to join the expedition team."

Loki patted Liber on the back and took the status sheet to burn it.

"Loki, can I go directly to the Dungeon to start adventuring now?"

"That won't do. At the very least, you need to know the relevant information regarding the Dungeon.

For instance, which floors are suitable for beginners, the characteristics and staircases of each floor, and the traits of the various monsters."

"I'll take you to the library to find some materials right now; you must make sure to memorize them well."

Liber nodded in agreement, and afterward, he returned to his room carrying the materials Loki had helped him find in the library.

"This is quite a lot," Liber said, setting the books down with a sigh.

"Still, I should test out my magic first."

Liber calmed his mind, pulled out a document, placed his hand upon it, and focused his thoughts as he whispered, "Float."

Accompanied by a slight drain on his internal mana, the book slowly drifted upward, hovering above the desk.

Liber lowered his hand and estimated the mana consumption; he could likely perform this feat over twenty times.

He attempted to manipulate the floating book, and with a mere thought, it danced up and down in the air. Following his intent, the pages flipped open and closed freely, continuously draining his mana.

Next, Liber cast the magic on the bed, the table, and other objects in the room.

He discovered that although the weight and size of the items varied, the mana consumed to cast the magic remained roughly the same.

Only while continuously manipulating the floating objects did the mana drain persist, but the consumption was not significant, allowing him to maintain control for a long time.

Liber suddenly had an idea; he cast the "Float" magic on himself, and his feet gradually left the ground, leaving him hovering in the room.

He found that no matter how he moved his body, he couldn't change his position, yet he could move freely through the air according to his will.

Liber flew around the room until his mana was nearly exhausted, then landed on the floor with a look of excitement.

"With this, I'll be invincible in the Dungeon. As long as I save enough mana for flight during an adventure, I can decide whether to fight or flee whenever I want."

Liber stood in the room, beaming, then clenched his fist as he felt the weakness brought on by the mana depletion.

"I still have enough mana left to try the other spell."

He whispered [Magic Space] in his heart, felt the mana drain, and sensed a space about the size of a backpack appear beside him.

"Is that all the space there is?" Liber felt a bit disappointed. He tried to exhaust his remaining mana and felt the space expand by a tiny fraction.

Afterward, he felt the weakness and discomfort that came with his mana being completely drained.

"It seems the space can continue to expand as I consume mana, though it has no offensive power. I'd better finish reading these materials quickly and head to the Dungeon as soon as possible."

Liber stretched his back, sat in the chair, and began to read the books earnestly, gradually becoming immersed in his studies.

The sun shifted, and the soft morning light gradually turned somewhat blinding, the refreshing temperature becoming a bit sultry.

As twilight fell, noisy sounds gradually began to rise, accompanied by bursts of surprised cheers.

"The Captain and the others are back!"

"Miss Ais is back too."

The clamor disturbed Liber, who had been focused on his reading.

He paused slightly, put down his book, and opened the door.

He watched as the members of the Familia gradually emerged, more and more people heading toward the main gate.

In Liber's mind, the figures mentioned in the original work began to surface one by one.

He stepped out of his room, followed the crowd downstairs, and headed toward the gate of Twilight Manor.

Stepping out of Twilight Manor and standing on the stairs, Liber watched the Familia members crowding the entrance, a liveliness that hadn't appeared in the last two days.

The members who had remained at the Familia displayed a joy and excitement they had never shown before, cheering and jumping for joy.

They welcomed the group returning from the gate, creating a joyful atmosphere.

The group being surrounded came directly into Liber's view.

"It's so damn noisy." A gray-haired beastman youth with white animal ears on his head, a tail swaying at his waist, and tattoos on his face—looking like a delinquent—expressed his irritation.

"Everyone is just so full of energy!" A black-haired girl with wheat-colored skin, dressed like a dancer with most of her skin exposed and only her chest and hips covered, and a flat chest, spoke in a spirited voice.

"It's already noisy enough, be a little quieter, Tiona." The person who spoke to the girl was a woman with long black hair who looked almost identical to her in features and skin tone, but whose physique and figure were at the opposite extreme.

Behind the three who were chatting actively, a girl with long golden hair, a thin and petite frame, and an exquisite face stood silently like a doll, watching their conversation.

Following the movement of the energetic group in front, the group behind them with a strong presence attracted even more attention.

It was a peculiar combination of a Pallum, an Elf, and a Dwarf.

A golden-haired male Pallum, shorter than everyone else present, with a youthful appearance and refined features like a human child, carrying a long spear.

An adult female Elf with emerald-green hair, wearing deep green clothing and a loose, mostly white robe with slight decorations. She held a silver staff inlaid with precious gems, had a pair of long, slender pointed ears, and possessed breathtaking, peerless beauty.

A male Dwarf with a thick beard, a sturdy build, wearing heavy armor, standing about the same height as the Pallum, and possessing powerful muscles compared to the Elf woman.

The latter three exuded an air of maturity; their movements toward the surrounding crowd were not exaggerated, their demeanor revealed composure, and they smiled at the others in the Familia with a kind of gentle warmth.

In this boisterous and warm atmosphere, a rowdy figure suddenly rushed out from inside the manor and burst into the crowd.

"I've really missed you all so much after not seeing you for a few days!"

Loki shouted as she lunged toward the gathered group.

"Ais--!"

Loki let out a lecherous, middle-aged man's howl as she dove toward the doll-like girl in the center of the group.

The eyes of everyone present followed Loki, only to see the golden-haired girl suddenly dodge, causing Loki to crash straight into an Elf woman.

The Elf stumbled, but after regaining her footing, she didn't hesitate to land a punch squarely on Loki's head.

"Ugh!" Loki let out a muffled groan before collapsing onto the ground.

"What on earth are you doing, Loki?" the Elf said with a look of exasperation.

"I just wanted to cuddle with Ais-tan! Tell me, why did you dodge, Ais-tan?" Loki lifted her head with great difficulty.

"Loki, annoying," the golden-haired girl said coldly.

"Sigh~" Loki looked as if she had turned to stone.

"Serves you right~ Loki, hehe."

A brown-haired girl dressed like a dancer crouched down in front of Loki, wearing a look of gleeful schadenfreude.

"Stop provoking Loki, Tiona."

A girl with long black hair, who looked identical to the other but appeared much more mature than the energetic girl, sighed.

"Loki, you're so noisy the moment you get back. Let us rest for a bit first."

"So noisy, it's annoying." A Beastman youth stood with his hands on his hips, his face full of impatience, showing not a shred of respect for the deity sprawled on the floor.

Amidst this conversation, the overall atmosphere was unexpectedly harmonious, possessing a natural, effortless sense of camaraderie.

One look was enough to tell that their relationship was close enough to allow for such playful banter.

Seeing this scene, Liber thought to himself, So this is what a Familia is.
