Liber looked at Loki with a helpless expression.
He nodded, silently chanting [Levitation] in his heart.
His feet left the ground, gradually rising until he hovered in mid-air.
"Oh, oh! He's flying!" Tiona shouted in amazement.
The others were also filled with surprise.
"This is... chantless magic?" Riveria looked at Liber, who was suspended in the air, with some surprise. "This is truly the first time I've seen such a thing."
"This is quite an excellent magic," Finn praised with a gentle expression.
Riveria's attitude was the same as the others, remaining quite friendly toward Liber.
Only the werewolf youth Bete stood there with a look of disdain, appearing somewhat impatient and seemingly unwilling to tolerate Liber.
"He's just a small fry with a bit of magic; the praise is overblown."
This remark caused the atmosphere to shift slightly. "Bete."
Finn frowned and issued a warning. Bete let out a soft snort and said nothing more. "Don't mind him."
"He just has a foul mouth."
Liber showed no signs of disappointment, shaking his head with a calm expression.
"Thank you for your concern, I'm fine." Liber pondered for a moment and said, "I have one more magic."
Tiona looked as if she were about to cry. "You have two magics just after receiving a blessing? I don't have a single one yet!"
Finn said happily, "This is truly rare."
Before everyone's eyes, Liber's palm gradually faded into the air and disappeared, then reappeared.
"Another chantless magic," Riveria raised an eyebrow.
"Invisibility?" Ais asked softly, full of curiosity.
Liber looked at her with some surprise. "Not invisibility, it's a storage space."
"I can use magic to create a space that only I can use, and I can consume magic power to expand it permanently. Currently, it is about..."
Liber felt a bit embarrassed to describe the backpack-sized space. He silently consumed all his recovered magic power, felt the space gradually expand, and after checking its size, he said:
"Currently... it's about half the size of Loki's room."
Finn's eyes widened slightly upon hearing this, and he suddenly asked, "Are there any restrictions on what you can store in this space?"
Liber hesitated for a moment. "I haven't felt any restrictions so far."
"That's wonderful," Finn said with pleasant surprise. "This ability will be very useful. If you join our expeditions, we can venture much deeper."
"Thank you for your praise."
Liber looked at the Pallum who resembled a human child. Not only was he a Level 6 First-Class Adventurer, but he had also sworn to revitalize the Pallum race and was regarded as a legendary hero.
As the captain of the Loki Familia, he had led them for decades, from a tiny, dust-like group to the massive entity that now shook Orario. The adventures he had experienced and the epic stories he could tell were countless.
Therefore, everyone present—whether they were Elven royalty or the various distinct members of the Familia—deeply respected this seemingly gentle Pallum from the bottom of their hearts.
Even Loki, a deity, stood to the side, smiling and leaving the stage entirely to Finn, which showed just how great his ability and prestige were.
Moreover, despite his small and youthful appearance, he was actually 40 years old; in both his past and present lives combined, Liber was not as old as him.
Regardless, Liber treated his words and actions with the utmost seriousness.
"You must grow quickly. Although your ability will be useful immediately, the Dungeon is still too dangerous. Once you promote to Level 2, you can join the expeditions directly."
Finn comforted Liber.
"Hi-hi! Since everyone has met, Liber should finish reading the materials as soon as possible. I forgot to tell you earlier, you need to register at the Guild to become an adventurer!"
Loki made a strange sound, raised her hands, and jumped around. "Party! Party! Anyway, we can talk about other things later. Let's hold a lively welcome party for the newcomer."
"You just want to drink, don't you?" Finn said, feeling both amused and helpless. Loki grinned shamelessly.
He then clapped his hands. "But indeed, we should always welcome new members and show our hospitality."
Finn looked at Liber gently. "There is a long time ahead, and I hope everyone can get along well in the Familia. Some people just have a sharp tongue, but we are all members of the Familia, and at our core, we care for and protect one another. Please don't take it to heart."
Bete, who was leaning against the wall with his arms crossed, clicked his tongue and turned his head away without saying anything.
"Eh? Bete, you didn't even retort?" Tiona teased.
"You're so noisy," Bete said, bickering with Tiona in annoyance.
The others watched them with smiles on their faces.
Finn stood up to stop the two from bickering. "Stop fooling around."
He looked around and said with a smile, "To welcome our new member, let's have a lively banquet."
"Oh!" the crowd responded enthusiastically, then filed out of the divine chamber to prepare for the celebration.
At the banquet, Liber met many other members, such as the Level 4 adventurer Raul Nord, whose alias was [Superhuman], the Level 4 adventurer Cruz Basel, and Line Arshe, a Level 2 adventurer with special abilities.
These people were the backbone of the Familia, many of them Level 2 adventurers, and even those who were Level 3 possessed their own unique strengths.
These formidable individuals had participated in numerous Familia expeditions, possessing solid abilities and extraordinary experiences.
After conversing with them, Liber watched as they danced enthusiastically and laughed amidst the banquet.
He sighed sincerely, "It's so boisterous it's almost troublesome."
"Is that so? You'll get used to it; everyone here is quite passionate."
Finn sat down beside Liber with a glass of wine and began to chat, "Have you had any experience with combat or training before? Would you like me to arrange for someone to guide you and help you get accustomed to fighting and the Dungeon?"
Liber held his juice and politely declined, "No need. I've received swordsmanship training in the past, and I've never slacked off on my daily exercises. Occasionally, I'd even go hunting animals with others. I'd like to experience the Dungeon on my own first."
Finn smiled and took a sip of his wine, "That's truly impressive. You're so well-prepared."
"Well, I've always felt that a person should rely on themselves, especially when it comes to adventuring. Matters of life and death require careful preparation."
Liber replied noncommittally.
"Self-reliance is a good thing, but after joining a Familia, you sometimes need to lean on other members. Make sure to play it safe when you first enter the Dungeon."
Finn urged him with a hint of concern.
"Understood, Captain. I value my own life quite a bit."
Liber said, feeling a bit helpless at Finn's concern.
"It's rare to see someone your age join a Familia and be so mature and steady."
"By the way, take this." Finn said, unhooking something from his waist and tossing it into Liber's hand. A crisp clinking sound came from within.
"This is?" Liber asked, puzzled.
"That contains 100,000 Valis. It's the Familia's subsidy for newcomers. Everyone who joins receives it. Generally, this money is enough for a newcomer to buy a good set of equipment," Finn answered gently.
"I see. Thanks." Liber silently cast a spatial magic, and the money bag slowly vanished from the bottom, stored away into his personal space.
"That's a power so convenient it makes one envious," Finn exclaimed. "Well then, that's all for now. I won't disturb your meal. If you encounter any difficulties or trouble, you can communicate with me directly. Everyone in the Familia will help solve it together."
With that, Finn carried his wine glass and walked toward the lively crowd at the banquet.
The Captain, huh... he seems like a pretty good person. Watching Finn's small figure gradually disappear into the bustling crowd, Liber whispered to himself.
He then watched the lively crowd while eating his food.
As the banquet dispersed, everyone returned to their rooms.
Liber sprawled out lazily on the bed, staring at the unfamiliar ceiling.
"The members of the Familia seem pretty good," he mused.
"I've finished reading the materials. Tomorrow, I'll officially head to the Dungeon to begin my first adventure."
"What is the actual Dungeon like?"
"I should probably get some equipment first."
With various thoughts swirling in his mind, Liber drifted off to sleep.
