Want to Eat Potatoes and Beef Brisket

After Yukino Yukinoshita settled the two Hajimi, she said to Li Yu, "I've cleared out the room, you can go ahead and draw the Magic Array."

Li Yu nodded and headed toward the open door, wasting no time before he began his work.

Kato Megumi and Asuna walked in to watch from the side. Following the same procedure as yesterday, Li Yu first marked out four positions before crouching on the floor to start drawing.

However, upon seeing the pattern Li Yu was drawing, Asuna asked with some surprise, "Isn't this Magic Array different from the one at my place? I remember mine didn't look like this."

"Because the environment is different, the Magic Array must be different too. Otherwise, why do you think they're so expensive?" Li Yu explained casually, which helped the others understand the logic behind it.

Having drawn it twice yesterday, Li Yu's movements were much faster today; he finished the entire Magic Array in just 20 minutes.

Once done, Li Yu helped activate and start it. After confirming there were no major issues, he packed up his tools and looked at Kato Megumi. "This side is done, let's go to your place!"

Li Yu just wanted to get things finished early so he could go to the market to buy groceries and have a meal with Asuna.

"Alright, is Yukino coming?" Kato Megumi had no objections, but she couldn't help but look at Yukino Yukinoshita, wondering if she wanted to join them.

"No, I need to tidy up. I'll find you later for dinner." Yukino Yukinoshita shook her head in refusal; her belongings were still scattered everywhere, and she needed to organize them.

Hearing this, Kato Megumi nodded after a moment of thought. "Okay, then send me a message later and we'll eat together."

Once they had agreed, Kato Megumi, Li Yu, and Asuna headed toward her residence. Kato Megumi's home wasn't far from Yukino Yukinoshita's.

It was only a five or six-minute walk before they reached their destination. Kato Megumi lived on the fifth floor, and the layout of these apartments seemed to be roughly the same.

Much like the place where Li Yu and the others lived, these were built specifically to be rented out to students. Li Yu even suspected that all these buildings belonged to the same landlord!

Come to think of it, Sister Mi mentioned she had several buildings she rented out—could these apartments all be hers? Did she hand the property management over to someone else while she went off to run her shop?

This made Li Yu suspicious; otherwise, how could these apartments be so similar?

Kato Megumi had also moved her things out of the room early, just waiting for Li Yu to come and draw the Magic Array. She probably woke up early just like Yukino to start moving things.

Thinking about Kato Megumi and Yukino Yukinoshita waking up early to brush their teeth and immediately start moving boxes, Li Yu couldn't help but chuckle.

At Kato Megumi's place, Li Yu followed the same method, quickly drawing the Magic Array for her. He happened to use up all the materials he had on hand, leaving only a tiny bit left, so he simply tossed it away.

"Done!" Looking at the Magic Array he had created, Li Yu nodded with satisfaction. This time he was even faster, taking only 18 minutes.

"Thanks for your hard work, Li Yu." Kato Megumi looked at the Magic Array on the floor, a flash of happiness in her eyes. With this, she would be able to increase her magic power over the next two days and break through to the third rank.

"I get paid to do the job. We're heading off now; contact me if anything comes up," Li Yu said, clapping his hands together as he gave Kato Megumi a reminder.

Kato Megumi smiled and replied, "Of course I'll come to you if I need anything. You guys head back then, I won't keep you."

After saying goodbye to Kato Megumi, Li Yu and Asuna left her home and began the journey back to their own place.

"Is there anything you like to eat?" On the way back, Li Yu couldn't help but ask Asuna. She had treated him to a meal yesterday, so today it was his turn to host.

Asuna replied, "I want to eat beef brisket. Can you make that? If you can, let's have that!"

If there was one thing she really wanted to eat, it was definitely beef brisket—it was her favorite dish in this area. It would be perfect if Li Yu could cook it.

"No problem. Then I'll make potato stewed beef brisket tonight. Anything else?" Li Yu nodded and agreed immediately; that was a small matter.

"Hee hee, then I'll leave it to you. Oh, right, Li Yu, let's go buy some medicine later. We need to prepare for the Dungeon on Monday." Asuna suddenly remembered something and made a suggestion to Li Yu.

Hearing this, Li Yu pondered for a moment before saying, "Medicine, huh... I think I'd rather buy some materials and make it myself. That stuff is ridiculously expensive!"

The prices of various potions were exorbitant, and Li Yu didn't want to be a sucker, so he figured he'd just make them himself. It shouldn't be a big problem.

"Make it yourself? Will that be okay?" Asuna looked at Li Yu, bewildered. Wouldn't that be a huge hassle? And would there even be enough time?

"No problem. Tutorials for things like Basic Potion can be found online. It won't be hard for me to learn," Li Yu said with absolute confidence.

It was just a potion, after all. Li Yu would start learning tonight and go buy the materials to manufacture them tomorrow. He could learn while he slept or while he was awake anyway.

If he could make it himself, why spend the money? His hard-earned cash was precious, so it was better to do it himself.

"Then... I'll wait until you've finished. If the results are good, I'll just buy them from you!" Thinking of Li Yu's monstrous learning talent, Asuna made a decision.

Perhaps Li Yu really could pull it off. As long as he succeeded and the quality was good, she could just buy them directly from him.

"I haven't even started and I've already got a customer?" Li Yu laughed when he heard Asuna say that, but that wasn't a bad thing. If Asuna bought from him, he would definitely give her a discount.

"Save where you can, spend where you must. Why would I buy expensive ones when I can get them cheap?" Asuna said this with such righteous confidence that Li Yu couldn't even argue.

She truly believed in his talent; otherwise, she wouldn't have made such a decision. Li Yu smiled, said nothing more, and led her toward the vegetable market.

Once they arrived at the market, Li Yu began to shop for groceries while Asuna followed along quietly. Because he had just moved, Li Yu lacked many things and needed to restock.

Thinking about the new place, Li Yu suddenly remembered he hadn't checked out of his old apartment yet. His deposit was still there, so he would have to contact the landlord later to get his money back.
