The paths through the second floor of the Dungeon seemed to converge eventually, no matter which one you took. With his God's-eye view, Li Yu watched as his classmates slowly gathered here from the other passages.
When everyone had assembled, they were still pretty bewildered. They had all ended up in the same place? That was a little ridiculous, wasn't it?
Only after Li Yu collected everyone's map fragments and drew a map of the second floor was he able to confirm it.
Looking at the map in his hands, Li Yu couldn't help saying, "Just as I thought. No matter how we split up earlier, we always ended up coming back together."
By then, Li Yu had already sensed the entrance to the third floor. The other passages all eventually led there too. In other words, unless you deliberately stayed here, you could always make your way down.
Li Yu handed the completed map to everyone and told them to take pictures of it. Then he said, "Next, we'll continue on to the third floor. Anyone who wants to stay on the second floor can do so."
At his words, the others looked at one another. Li Yu continued, "You've all seen how quickly the monsters on this floor respawn. If you want to make money, you can stay here. The monsters aren't that strong, either."
He looked at his classmates. Most of them had a fair number of Magic Stones by now, and their happy smiles made it clear they were quite satisfied with what they'd earned.
"But would it really be okay to stay on this floor? I doubt we could handle it at night." With monsters respawning this fast, there'd be no chance to sleep.
Even having someone stand watch wouldn't help when monsters kept appearing
