Falan: "So, what is it?"
Ever since they had left the Imperial Arms vault, someone had been staring at him, and her gaze was remarkably steady.
It made Falan feel rather uncomfortable. If it had been more intense, or held some obvious purpose, that would have been better.
Then he would have had a reason to reject her gaze. Now, aside from asking, there seemed to be no other way.
"It's nothing." Mikael shook her head. "Isaac... no, Stamp?"
Falan: "???" Why was she suddenly calling out to him?
Come to think of it, Isaac was his given name and Stamp was his surname. Generally speaking, colleagues were supposed to address one another by their surnames.
Just like how, in Isaac Stamp's diary, he had always referred to Mikael as Mikael, so that had always been how he addressed her.
Had he slipped up now? Because she called him Isaac, yet he had never responded?
Mikael merely nodded. "It's nothing. I just wanted to confirm whether you're Isaac or Stamp right now."
"..." Was this girl's perception really that sharp? He had only just absorbed Isaac Stamp's memories, and she had already noticed.
Falan: "Fine, I surrender. When did you figure it out? You had plenty of chances to tell others, yet you never did."
Mikael: "I noticed from the very beginning. As for why I didn't say anything, it was because you didn't have any malicious intent."
"..." She had not reported him simply because he had no ill intent? What a truly intuitive girl. "Strictly speaking, I am the Isaac you mentioned. It's just that I've now recovered Stamp's memories. Would you believe that?"
"I believe you. You aren't lying." Mikael gave him a brilliant smile, and Falan found himself staring.
What kind of heavenly teammate was this?
