Earth Release: Headhunter Jutsu
Suifeng dragged the one-eared Pakura underground, leaving only her head above the surface. It was a little strange, but it had genuinely helped her avoid a fatal blow.
"We have to get out of this barrier. Otherwise, I'll be fine, but you'll be in serious trouble!"
"Why did you save me?!" Pakura asked, baffled.
"Because I have a connection with One-Ear!"
Suifeng wondered if he should go back and make a contract with a black cat.
His words rekindled Pakura's anger.
"Enough talk. There are nine people maintaining the barrier. Pick one and attack him with your strongest technique!"
"If it were that simple, the barrier would have been broken long ago!"
Pakura didn't think that was a good idea. Barriers were generally extremely sturdy. Once one had been successfully established, it was difficult to break from either the outside or the inside.
"That's why I told you to attack the people!"
Suifeng said. Barriers were troublesome, but they had weaknesses, especially ones maintained by people. The nine Root shinobi had raised the barrier together, making them its weak points. They were neither inside nor outside it, but at the center of its energy. In other words, the strength of the huge dome above them was more or less uniform—except where it reached the nine shinobi, where it was divided in half to envelop them.
This kept the nine from being attacked, but it also made the barrier relatively weak where they stood.
"Enough with all the pointless thoughts. If you don't come up with something soon, I can get out, but you'll die in there!"
Suifeng urged her on.
Pakura didn't think Suifeng's suggestion was very reliable, but she truly had no other choice. Especially after all her subordinates had been killed by the Root
