After returning to the Konoha camp, Suifeng quickly noticed that Orochimaru was acting a little differently than before. At the very least, he wasn't as cold and aloof, or as difficult to approach.
"Heh, heh, heh. You seem to be in a good mood too. You really got under Danzo's skin last night, didn't you?"
"I kicked one of his Shadow Clones apart. Too bad it wasn't the real thing!"
"You managed to kick Danzo's Shadow Clone apart in one blow. Looks like you've made progress in your research on the Strength Enhancement Technique!"
"A little, but it's still not enough. I can't make it instinctive. Every time I want to reach the level of the Strength of a Hundred, I still need time to prepare. Otherwise, I'd have cleared out all the Sand shinobi on the front line today!"
He wasn't exaggerating. If he could truly wield the Strength Enhancement Technique as effortlessly as his own arm, he would be an unmatched weapon on the battlefield. The results he could achieve would be no different from those of the future Konoha Flash. With his incredible speed and terrifying destructive power combined, only Kage-level powerhouses and a few powerful near-Kage-level shinobi could stand against him. Even an elite Jonin who crossed his path might not make it out alive. That was far better than merely crushing balls as he did now.
Orochimaru seemed to realize this too. If Suifeng could truly incorporate the Strength Enhancement Technique into his speed, Orochimaru wouldn't necessarily have been able to handle him so easily last time. Soft Physique Modification was powerful, but it had its limits. He had personally experienced Tsunade's Strength of a Hundred. Tsunade had reached Kage Level through her monstrous strength.
