The Great Serpent bearing the world moved forward above the Cloud Sea
The camel bearing the tower strolled among the mountains
When Sylutia entered the tower, her eyes gradually adjusted, and she took in her surroundings.
A dark red woven carpet covered the floor. The surrounding walls and floor were made of black stone slabs, and whale-oil candles burned along both sides of the passage, giving off a faint fragrance.
A middle-aged man in a black coat approached from beside the passageway. He looked to be in his forties, and a faint aura of Castle Aspect emanated from him.
"You're the student from Scorched Stone City, right?"
He opened the thick, hardbound book in his hands. Its pages turned by themselves with a rustling sound before stopping on one page. Sylutia's name and a sketch of her face appeared on the yellowed paper. Beside the row recording the girl's information were two symbols: a golden sunflower and a Purple Night Flower.
"Oh, it seems you've already caught some people's attention." Noticing the two symbols, the man stroked his beard, then looked up. When he saw the badge beside Sylutia's collar, his expression shifted slightly.
"The Woodland Badge. That means you must be an outstanding student who completed all three objectives." He nodded slightly.
"Good. You can stay in one of the upper-floor rooms in the Camel Tower. A maid will be assigned to clean your room, and someone will show you where to eat." As he spoke, he raised a hand toward the page. Invisible threads gathered, forming a black key in his palm with effortless ease.
"This is your room key. Go to the third floor and find an unlocked room. Once you're inside, insert the key into the lock and wait a moment before using it."
