"Lohr, if you'd come a few minutes later, you could've collected Sam's and my bodies." Dean plopped down on the deck, gasping heavily without any regard for appearances. He still made a show of complaining, but the relief in his voice was obvious.

Curiously, he looked around the bizarre ship, even reaching out to touch the cold hull that seemed to absorb light. Finally, he gave Wu Heng at the bow a thumbs-up and grinned through the pain. "But this new ride is fucking awesome! It's even flashier than my beloved Chevrolet!"

Sam had collapsed beside him as well. He nodded with difficulty in agreement, too exhausted to say anything.

Wu Heng nodded lightly in acknowledgment of Dean's "praise."

His gaze shifted toward the demons in the alley, which had finally recovered from their shock and begun issuing threatening growls. His tone was calm, yet brimming with confidence.

"You don't mind if I handle this trash, do you?"

"Not at all, absolutely not. Be my guest," Dean hurriedly flattered him.

Wu Heng slowly raised his right hand and made a grasping motion toward the deeply flooded alley below.

In an instant, the half-foot-deep water covering the alley floor seemed to come alive. Thick, semi-transparent tentacles formed from rainwater shot up from the puddles like enormous water pythons.

There were countless rainwater tentacles. Rather than lashing about wildly, they moved with an uncanny order, instantly forming a massive cage that continuously spun inward.

Every demon in the alley, including the six Seven Deadly Sins, was trapped at its center.

The tentacles coiled and danced, bringing with them the howl of rushing water. They resembled a deadly lotus made of flowing water, slowly closing its petals.
