Then he recalled how this woman had risked her life to buy them time. He spoke hoarsely, as if trying to convince himself more than anyone else:

"Damn it. Even if she's a demon, if she hadn't blocked that hit just now, we probably wouldn't have lasted until you got here." He looked at Wu Heng. "Lohr, if you let her on the boat, you must be confident you can keep her under control, right?"

Though Sam said nothing, his eyes held the same question. They had come to understand Wu Heng's way of doing things and knew he would never allow an uncontrollable factor anywhere near him.

Wu Heng did not even turn to look at the woman. His attention was completely focused on the gigantic tentacle cage below, which had fully transformed into metal and was spinning at high speed.

"Wasn't I trusting you two? You said she was an ally."

"Uh, I think you should still be on guard. We didn't know she was a demon before." Dean's
