A sense of dread rose within her as an immense, cold, deathly pressure descended heavily from the swiftly gathering storm clouds overhead.

The air became thick and heavy, making it hard for her to breathe. Even her waist bent slightly of its own accord.

A deep fear flashed through Ruby's eyes. She stomped her foot, and her body burst forth with speed far beyond human limits, becoming a blurred black shadow that vanished instantly at the end of the corridor. But then the ship rippled like a reflection in water and rapidly faded away.
