The Demon Hunter Guild's command center had once again become a temporary war room.
Three maps were spread across the massive table: a full map of Grants Pass, a structural blueprint of Dick Roman Enterprises headquarters, and a regional distribution map marked with every known Leviathan infection site.
Different-colored marker flags had been planted across the maps. Red represented confirmed Leviathan nests, yellow indicated suspected infection zones, and blue marked Guild defensive positions.
Sam stood beside the table, holding a monitoring report that had just arrived.
Over the past forty-eight hours, the Leviathans' infection rate had tripled. It was no longer limited to Grants Pass—the water systems of three neighboring towns had also tested positive for pale yellow extract.
The infected people's behavior had also escalated. They had gone from blank obedience to organized resource gathering. At night, they moved out in groups, raiding pharmacies, chemical supply stores, and even hospital blood banks.

Renault looked up from another monitoring terminal. "Aerial reconnaissance found massive thermal activity beneath Sulfur Falls Hospital. It could be a hatchery."
"We can't attack directly." Wu Heng's voice came through the communicator. He was in the laboratory, but his voice was clear. "The Leviathans' central consciousness can jump between hosts at any time. Kill one Dick Roman, and it will immediately transfer to the next backup vessel. We need to destroy all core nodes in one strike while cutting off its transfer routes."
Sam looked toward the faintly glowing holographic projection on the tactical table. It was the design schematic for the Threefold Bloodline Silver Blade.
The blade had already been forged and was now
