Sam frowned. "Lucifer and Michael are sealed away, the lords of Hell are all under Crowley now, and the blood of a pure mortal..."
"Virgin's blood," Kevin said. "Or the blood of a saint who has never harmed an innocent."
The two fell silent.
The requirements were too harsh.
Just then, an alarm went off.
A bracelet on Kevin's wrist vibrated and lit up. His expression changed. "The Academy's defenses have been triggered. The Leviathans are here."
Dean drew his gun, while Sam gripped his machete.
Kevin swiftly packed away the tablet and handed it to them. Then he pulled a backpack from beneath the table. "We can't stay here. The Academy has an underground passage leading to the lakeside dock. Follow me."
They had barely reached the door when footsteps echoed down the hallway.
Heavy, dragging, and numerous.
"Too late." Dean raised his gun toward the corridor. "Sam, take him and the tablet and go. I'll hold them off. Our people are waiting outside."

"Go!"
Gritting his teeth, Sam grabbed Kevin and rushed toward the staircase on the other side.
Dean remained at the doorway. At the end of the hall, dozens of things that could barely be called "people" came pouring in. Their skin was pale yellow, their eyes glowed, and corrosive saliva dripped from their mouths.
They had once been students and teachers. Now, they were merely Leviathan puppets.
Dean opened fire without hesitation. He knew the Leviathans had already devoured these people from the inside out, leaving behind nothing but empty shells.
Borax-soap-water bullets struck the first one, instantly corroding its face, but those behind it kept charging.
