Once Kirsty had calmed down, she looked at the Box of Mourning on the table, her expression resolute. She had decided to destroy the evil thing once and for all.

Wu Heng knew that in the story, when Kirsty tried to burn the box, the Hermit, a wandering vagrant, appeared and took it away.

But keeping the box nearby was a liability. Not only was it tied to what would happen later, but the Hermit would also come after it.

Wu Heng looked at Kirsty's face, set with determination.

"So you're still in great danger."

Kirsty rested her head on Wu Heng's arm and asked worriedly.

"Yes."

"The Ice Cenobite was frightened off once by Nailhead. It shouldn't come back for the next day or two."

"But it'll come after me sooner or later, so I have to leave," Wu Heng explained.

Kirsty asked, "Then how can I help you? I'll go with you."
