After Kirsty regained her composure, she looked at the Box of Mourning sitting on the table. Her expression was resolute; she was determined to destroy this evil object once and for all.

Wu Heng knew that in the original plot, the Hermit would appear to snatch the box away just as Kirsty attempted to burn it.

"Okay." Kirsty nodded. Although her mind was filled with questions, she trusted Wu Heng.

A taxi pulled up by the side of the road, and a middle-aged man in a brown suit hurried out, his right hand wrapped in thick bandages.
