As Wu Heng continued to capture and kill.
As one force diminished while another increased, the number of evil spirits in the corridor rapidly decreased.
This hotel, built on the ancestral graves of Native Americans, is like the slave-hunting caravans that came after the Europeans discovered the Native Americans; the evil spirits within are also being enslaved by Wu Heng in large numbers.
This time, however, the enslaved spirits are from Europe, not the souls of the Native Americans.
"Ha, continue!"
After capturing the remaining three cremated corpses, Wu Heng stared at the twin evil spirits and spoke gently.
In this terrifying atmosphere, with a group of evil spirits under his control beside him, Wu Heng seemed more like the master of this place.
The holy godfather attire contrasted sharply with the grotesque figures surrounding him, like a fallen holiness.
"Leave, leave, leave!" the twins roared ominously again.
Then they opened their mouths wide and let out a piercing, shrill scream:
"Ah--Buzz--!"
The Scream turned into a piercing buzzing sound, shattering the glass in the surrounding rooms and creating a series of crackling sounds in the corridor.
"It's so noisy!"
"The Lord said, 'A noisy child will be punished.'"
Wu Heng shouted, grabbed the Exorcism Token, and pounced forward, slapping it against the twins' filthy mouths full of fangs with a whooshing sound.
The Exorcism Command was swung horizontally, striking both of the evil creatures' faces simultaneously.
puff!
This blow, however, was like tearing open a blood bag.
Large amounts of blood gushed from them like a flood, and also poured out from the cracks in the doors of each room, as if these brown wooden doors had become dams, the blood inside making them clang and bang.
Wow!
With a gushing sound, the wooden doors of all the rooms were flung open by the blood inside, slamming violently against the walls. The filthy, putrid blood, like a rising tide or a raging torrent, swept towards Wu Heng in the corridor.
The blood seemed to be corrosive; the surrounding evil spirits that came into contact with it developed burn-like marks.
Wu Heng tried absorbing the blood and found that it was just like the blood on the hotel's outer door—rotten, filthy, and devoid of any nutrients. It was like rapeseed flowers that had been crushed and pounded, all the oil had been squeezed out, leaving only dregs.
He could absorb this blood, but it was of no use to him; in fact, it made him feel nauseous.
After all, nobody likes to drink large amounts of plain water all the time, or to force themselves to drink more even after they've had enough.
Wu Heng simply opened the Life Box. A fleshy plant root, about five meters long and as thick as a telephone pole, covered in black and red, tore open his chest and extended into the corridor.
He mobilized one of the roots of the Swine Elixir, causing it to extend directly from the Life Box in his chest and begin to rapidly absorb the gushing blood that had already submerged half of his body.
Wu Heng's body, which was immersed in blood, had its skin melted as if it were in sulfuric acid, but after Siphon the Swine Elixir, it quickly recovered and looked completely fine.
The Swine Elixir acted like a filter, accepting all blood coming from the corridor and absorbing it greedily, making itself increasingly hard.
The Swine Two next to it also began to absorb the energy; the water contained malevolent energy, which could enhance it.
As the Swine Elixir, like a bottomless pit, frantically absorbed the blood, the blood on the ground rapidly decreased.
The blood of these tragically deceased individuals, preserved in the hotel, was thus entirely given to Swine Elixir.
After the Swine Elixir is absorbed, the blood containing subtle energy produced can once again sustain Wu Heng's actions.
Before the Seven Fiends Rebirth Ritual, Wu Heng would not have dared to do this. But now that his heart is no longer his vital point, it doesn't matter if the roots of the Swine Elixir Core come out and tear his chest; it won't cause him any fatal harm.
"Very good, continue!"
Wu Heng spoke softly to the hotel.
He looked around; everything had returned to calm. He had retracted the thick roots of the Swine Elixir, and the huge wound on his chest was rapidly healing.
His leather shoes smacked against the sticky, dark red floor, making a squelching sound with each step. A trail of blood appeared on the sole, stretched a centimeter, and then snapped off under the force.
The twins have vanished from the spot.
But they were Wu Heng's targets, and he couldn't let them escape. He strode forward and walked to the two small corpses on the ground.
"You can run away from the monk, but you can't run away from the temple!"
"Come, meet your daughters."
Wu Heng turned to look at the black man in a suit whom he had subdued at the hotel entrance. At his call, the black evil spirit walked forward without saying a word and picked up two leg bones from the ground.
This black man was once the hotel's Guardian, but after being influenced by the hotel or the evil spirits within it, he stabbed his two daughters to death. Both of his deceased daughters possessed the abilities of the the Shining.
Unlike eight-year-old Danny, who escaped murder by his own family, he simply couldn't escape it; it just goes to show that different people have different fates.
Wu Heng pulled out a dagger and handed it to the black man.
After taking it, he plunged it again into the bone in his hand, just as he had plunged the dagger into his own daughter's body.
In the instant the scene was reenacted, twin girls appeared on the ground.
After they appeared, they pounced on him, opening their filthy, blood-stained mouths wide, and bit down hard on the black man's thigh.
Its illusory, eerie form was actually bitten open by the twins.
Is this the power of love turning into hate?
Wu Heng watched with great interest, but his hands did not stop moving. The power of the Swine Two surged towards the twins, and talismans appeared in his hands, while blood was flicked out.
The twins stopped when the black man was bitten again, revealing his charred black leg bone.
At this moment, Wu Heng had no interest in playing the role of a righteous official, upholding justice for the twin evil spirits, or letting them devour the black man alive to avenge him.
In his eyes, all these evil things were the same; they were all his tools.
It's not like they're recruiting experts and winning over subordinates in a historical war world; they're just a bunch of man-eating vile creatures.
After dealing with the second floor, Wu Heng, surrounded by attendants, went down the stairs to the first floor.
The hotel's once clean and tidy lobby was now like a living Purgatory. Everything was laid bare, and all the customers revealed their most bizarre and sinister aspects, as if they were desperately trying to display their terror.
A wave of scorching heat hit me.
From time to time, foot-long flames shot downwards from the charred ceiling, falling in streaks that extinguished mid-air.
Charred corpses twitched incessantly on the floor, while jagged, grotesque figures crawled along the walls with incredible speed.
It can easily jump from the ground to a high platform, and even hang from the ceiling, its withered hands gripping the ceiling firmly, splashing out a large number of fire sparks.
"Help me!"
"Water!"
A humanoid object seemed to have spotted Wu Heng. It struggled to crawl towards Wu Heng, stretching out its two arms and crawling with a hoarse voice.
Wu Heng used the word "clump" because this filthy thing was composed of a husband and wife and a child.
It seems that during the fire,
The man and woman held the child protectively between their bodies, embracing each other.
But the fire was just too fierce.
The child's delicate skin acted as an adhesive; as the flames scorched them, their bodies melted, binding the man and woman together. They then continued to burn in the fire, turning into embers.
