A tremendous sound wave erupted from the wail.
It was so intense that everyone present felt their ears ringing and their bodies grow physically dizzy, nearly passing out.
Pablo's severed foot was further agitated, causing blood to seep out again and making him grimace in agony.
Fortunately, Uncle Hank promptly applied some special medicine to the wound and stopped the bleeding.
"Oh, shut up already!"
Irritated by the noise, Kelly clutched her head and cursed as she looked at Demon Eligos's foul mouth, as large as a palm and packed with fangs.
Then she grabbed a baseball bat from nearby and shoved its thick end straight into its mouth.
"Shut up. Have a taste of a baseball bat. Maybe you should try a utility pole instead—given the size of your mouth, this thing doesn't seem nearly enough for you."
"But I'll try to shove it in a little deeper!"
Like she was pounding garlic, Kelly threw her entire body weight onto it and pressed down.
It did manage to suppress some of Eligos's agonized wails.
But it did not stop them completely.
Still, everyone's headaches eased somewhat. Kelly felt an itch in her nose, followed by a warm trickle.
She wiped it with the back of her hand.
She discovered that during the previous struggle, Eligos's vibrations had traveled through the baseball bat into her body, actually giving her a nosebleed.
"What a dangerous fellow," Kelly remarked, then turned to look at Ash's lone remaining head.
"Just a head can drink a potion? I have no idea what kind of principle that works on."
As she examined him, she suddenly noticed that Ash's nostrils seemed to be bleeding as well.
It appeared to be related to the vibrations emitted by the demon just now.
"He's bleeding!"
Kelly's words drew everyone's
