Xiao Yi Xian initially works with the Ten Thousand Medicine Pavilion. She reveals that she lacks a real name and that Master Yao gave her a name while seeking to exploit her. Wanting freedom and the chance to become a true physician, she chooses to leave with Xiao Li rather than return to her herb-gathering team 7 8.

The two treat an injured blue eagle and name it Little Blue. When the Wolf Head Mercenary Group attacks Xiao Li, she stays with him and accompanies him into the Magical Beast Mountain Range, supplying healing pills during his recovery. After their mountain stay, Xiao Zhan offers her a home with the Xiao Clan 7 8 10 12.
