Of the nine tailed beasts, Akatsuki had already collected the chakra of five. Though it was far from complete, it had laid a solid enough foundation for reviving the Ten-Tails. The Demonic Statue of the Outer Path's combat power was no longer as unreliable as it had been when Nagato was alive.

The ones still unaccounted for were Saiken of the Six-Tails, Matatabi of the Two-Tails, Gyūki of the Eight-Tails, and Kurama of the Nine-Tails.

Although they could find substitutes, if they did not restore as much of the Ten-Tails' power as possible, then even becoming the Ten-Tails' Jinchuriki would not be enough to suppress the entire Shinobi World's resistance alone.

"We searched the entire Land of Lightning. We even went to the Valley of Clouds and Lightning, where the Eight-Tails' Jinchuriki was originally kept, but it had long since been abandoned. They must have moved somewhere even more concealed."

In a hidden underground location in the Land of Frost, Zetsu said to Uchiha Obito, "If this island truly is where Kumogakure has hidden its Jinchuriki, then we've struck gold. Don't fail this time."

Uchiha Obito replied in a low voice, "Do you think I'm that useless Nagato? He acted time and again, letting the enemy figure out all his cards. His failures were only to be expected."

Uchiha Obito had every reason to say that. Isobu of the Three-Tails, Son Gokū of the Four-Tails, and Shukaku of the One-Tail had all been captured and sealed by Uchiha Obito personally, or under his command.

Compared to Nagato, who had suffered losses yet gained almost nothing, Uchiha Obito certainly had the right to look down on him.

"It's a good thing that you're confident. They just sealed the One-Tail, so they must still be bargaining at the Five Kage Summit. They
