Though somewhat reckless, after nearly three years of Jiraiya's training and no shortage of real combat during this time, Naruto Uzumaki was no longer like before, completely unable to gauge the gap in strength between himself and his enemies.

Other than a woman dressed in elaborate crimson robes, the other four were maintaining the Four Violet Flames Formation.
Fu, the Seven-Tails Jinchuriki, was somewhat worried. Her combat strength was not particularly outstanding among Jinchuriki. What made others wary of her were her ability to fly and her incredible speed, but within the cramped Four Violet Flames Formation, neither advantage could be brought into play.

"Though the Four Violet Flames Formation is powerful, it's not unbreakable. The old Third broke it head-on with ninjutsu."
