After an unknown amount of time, Gu Yuena finally straightened up, satisfied.

Her cheeks were flushed, her breathing was still a little unsteady, she raised her hand to wipe the corner of her mouth, her eyes filled with the satisfaction of having successfully stolen a lover.

She straightened Shen Yifeng's disheveled collar, picked up the tea tray, and went out the door with light steps.

The footsteps faded into the distance.

Under the bed, Lan Xuanyu finally exhaled after holding her breath for a long time.

She crawled out from under the bed, covered in dust and grime, with a wisp of ash still clinging to her hair; she looked utterly disheveled.

She dusted herself off, gritted her teeth, glared in the direction Gu Yuena had left, then turned and rushed to the bedside.

Looking at Shen Yifeng's slightly swollen lips, Lan Xuanyu felt a surge of bitterness rush to her nose.

"Wife..." she muttered softly, her voice a mix of grievance and annoyance, "My first kiss should have been with you, my husband..."

He got angrier and angrier, wishing he could drag Gu Yuena back right now and have a fight with her.

But when she looked down at Shen Yifeng's face, she swallowed her anger back.

What's all the fuss about? Let's eat first.

She bent down, stared at his lips for two seconds, as if trying to erase some trace, and then lowered her head to kiss them.

The first blow was delivered with emotion, a bit heavy, and carried a hint of defiance.

But the moment they touched, that resentment was dispelled by the soft touch on their lips.

Lan Xuanyu was taken aback.

It seems a little different from what I imagined.

It was softer and warmer than I expected.

She blinked, her anger subsiding considerably, replaced by a surge of curiosity.

She pressed herself against him again, this time much more gently, carefully taking his lower lip into her mouth and slowly rubbing it.

The faint aroma of tea lingered, mixed with a hint of Gu Yuena's lingering fragrance, which stirred a pang of sadness in her heart.

But this initial sourness was quickly overwhelmed by an even stronger possessiveness.

Lan Xuanyu became more and more engrossed in the kiss, her tongue probing between her teeth, her movements carrying the domineering nature innate to the Dragon Clan, yet mixed with the eagerness of someone experiencing pleasure for the first time.

She gradually forgot that this was an attempt to "make amends," forgot the humiliation she had just suffered, and her mind and eyes were filled only with the tingling and satisfaction brought by their intertwined lips and teeth.

Only one thought remained in my mind: so this is what it feels like to be intimate with my wife; it felt so good I almost had an erection.

She kissed him so passionately that she lost herself in the moment, her breathing becoming increasingly rapid, and one hand unconsciously braced itself against his pillow.

A furious shout suddenly rang out from the doorway.

" Lan Xuanyu! What are you doing!"

Lan Xuanyu shuddered and sprang up like a cat whose tail had been stepped on.

She turned around abruptly and saw Gu Yuena standing at the door with a fruit platter, her face ashen and her eyes practically spitting fire.

For a moment, Lan Xuanyu did feel guilty.

But it only lasted for a moment.

She composed herself, then suddenly realized—something's not right.

Lan Xuanyu curled her lips into a smile, slowly wiping them with a hint of self-righteous provocation.

" Na'er, how dare you ask me that?"

She stood up from the bedside and leisurely crossed her arms.

"You drugged me with Dragon Cloud Powder, then secretly came to kiss my wife." She paused, raised her chin, "When you drugged me, didn't you think about this now?"

Gu Yuena's anger froze, and her imposing aura visibly diminished.

She coughed lightly, looked away, and the tips of her ears turned slightly red.

"... This isn't my fault."

Lan Xuanyu almost laughed in anger.

Gu Yuena pursed her lips, deciding to go all out. She put down the fruit plate, strode over, and reached out to pull her arm.

"Alright, you've already kissed her, so you've got it all." She tugged at Lan Xuanyu's sleeve, her tone laced with a hint of roguishness. "Hurry up and get down."

Lan Xuanyu was jolted by the tug, looked down at her sleeve that was being pulled, and then at Gu Yuena's feigned composure.

She suddenly smiled.

"Get down?" She raised an eyebrow. "I've only just begun."

Lan Xuanyu was about to lean down and kiss him again, Shen Yifeng on the bed suddenly frowned, let out a low groan, and his eyelashes trembled slightly, as if he was about to wake up.

Their expressions changed simultaneously.

Lan Xuanyu jerked back as if she had been burned, her steps faltering.

Gu Yuena didn't bother with the accounts anymore. She quickly tidied up the teacups and fruit plates on the table, smoothed out the wrinkles in the sheets, and even picked up a stray hair that had fallen on the edge of the bed. Her movements were so fast that they were almost blurry, and she didn't dare to delay for the slightest.

"Let's go," Gu Yuena whispered.

The two held their breath, tiptoed open the door, slipped out, and quietly closed it behind them.

Only after turning the corner of the corridor did they both breathe a sigh of relief, exchange a glance, and see a hint of lingering fear in each other's eyes; the earlier confrontation had largely dissipated.

Two minutes later, Shen Yifeng groggily opened his eyes.

My head still feels heavy, like I've just woken up from a hangover, and my mouth is incredibly dry.

He propped himself up on his arms and sat up, subconsciously licking his lips. He felt his lips were a little numb and swollen, as if they had been rubbed against something for a while. He shook his head and looked around.

The room was quiet; Gu Yuena and Lan Xuanyu were nowhere to be seen.

The ribs, braised pork, and teacups on the table were all cleaned up, leaving not a trace of oil, as if the lively scene just now was all his illusion.

Shen Yifeng frowned and stood there stunned for a long time.

He only remembered that the two of them brought him food, and then Gu Yuena brought him tea, which he drank a couple of sips of... After that, he had no memory of anything else.

Was it because I've been too tired from practicing lately that I fell asleep while sitting?

How could someone be sleeping so soundly that they didn't even know when they left?

He touched his lips, feeling something was off, but he couldn't quite put his finger on it.

In the end, he could only blame it on the lingering effects of Dragon Cloud Powder, shook his head, got out of bed, and went to get some water.

Meanwhile, within his sea of consciousness...

Xingyuan God General had witnessed the entire event clearly and couldn't help but chuckle softly.

"I never imagined that the lofty Dragon God would one day become a war god under the bed." He shook his head, his tone full of mockery. "One steals a kiss, the other hides under the bed to pick up scraps. After living for hundreds of thousands of years, they seem to be getting more and more like idiots."

As his smile faded, he looked at Shen Yifeng's bewildered back, a deeper meaning flashing in his eyes. The deeper this bond, the better it might not be for the subsequent divine trials.

Three minutes later, the door was gently pushed open.

Gu Yuena walked in carrying a glass of iced drink, her expression calm. Lan Xuanyu followed behind her, her hands behind her back, much more well-behaved than usual.

As soon as they entered, the two of them avoided Shen Yifeng's gaze. One put down a cup, and the other tidied the corner of the table. Their movements were both deliberate yet natural.

Shen Yifeng sat on the edge of the bed, his gaze sweeping over the two of them, his eyebrows slightly raised.

They were arguing fiercely just a moment ago, but now they're in sync? Something's definitely fishy. He narrowed his eyes and said, "Why do I find you two so strange?"

Gu Yuena paused in her movements, Lan Xuanyu also froze for a moment.

They both turned their heads at the same time, their faces showing a hint of innocent confusion.

"Really?" Gu Yuena spoke first, trying to keep her tone calm, and pushed the iced drink towards him. "It's freshly chilled, just to wake you up."
