The old man wore a broad smile, his manners thoroughly respectful.

"Since we have come here, we shall naturally follow the host's arrangements..."

Sangji handled the formalities. Pressing his palms together, he said to Scattered Wood True Person, "May I ask when and where Broad Wood True Person intends to attain the Dao?"

"Naturally, it will be on the first day of August. [Horn Wood] occupies the proper position of wood, corresponding to yang wood, so the hour of the tiger has been chosen... When Sangji and the Great Dharma King Jiumoluojie arrived at the Welcome Platform, they found that many eminent monks of Hidden Treasury had already gathered there.

There were monks from Great Black Heaven Temple as well, though for some reason, the Dharma King of Great Treasury Temple had yet to arrive.
