A vast city stretched out from the dark passageway.
Ouroboros controlled the flames, illuminating everything around them before everyone's eyes.
The underground city, built of stone, had a unique style. However, with no electricity, only the area around Dawn and the others was lit by firelight, while everything deeper inside remained shrouded in darkness.
"A real surprise?"
As expected, Dawn's words drew everyone's attention.
"Could it be that Infinite Land is hiding some other secret?" Enel turned to look at Dawn, blue arcs of electricity flashing in his eyes and revealing his excitement.
"You have an affinity with this city. It is the Infinite Land you've been seeking, so try discharging electricity into the city." Dawn pointed at the ground. "There'll be a surprise."
"Hm? Discharge electricity? Got it." Though Enel did not understand what Dawn meant, he had always trusted Dawn and did as he was told.
Lightning surged and flickered around Enel. Then, he stomped on the ground, and blue lightning slithered into the earth like serpents.
"Use more power. Don't worry about damaging the city; that amount of electricity won't do anything." Seeing that the darkness around them remained motionless, Dawn spoke again.
"Then I won't hold back!" At his words, lightning erupted from Enel like a rushing river. Those standing beside him could even feel the searing heat of the electricity.
Like a stone sinking into the sea, the current once again surged into the ground, while only the flames continued to burn around them.
Thud!
The sound of something heavy striking echoed from the darkness, growing more frequent by the moment.
Thud.
Thud.
Thud.
The sounds kept coming from afar, and the repeated noise brought to mind the operation of some enormous machine.
