Meanwhile, Enel conquered Birka and reorganized the Sky Islands, and Dawn’s group ended up investigating a mysterious hunting ground on Hunter Island.

• Dawn and Enel uncovered Lao G and the Donquixote Family’s role in Kotal Rad’s invasion, allowing Gaius to prepare Ishtar’s forces for war.
• Garp defeated and arrested Lao G while Dawn’s army crushed the Kotal Kingdom’s mercenaries and occupied Koltar.
• Dawn refused Gaius’s offer to become king, and the former Koltar nation became Crete as Gaius rebuilt it and its people accepted the new rule.
• Dawn returned to Marine Headquarters, trained under Kuzan, and joined the recruits in West Blue, where they helped repel a pirate attack.

Dawn confronted the hunting ground on Hunter Island, met Dragon, and strengthened his resolve to pursue true justice. After taking Baby-5 under his care, he led his Marines through the East Blue and destroyed a pirate alliance, leaving the region celebrating and news of his victory spreading.

• Dawn discovered the king's human hunting ground on Hunter Island, and Dragon revealed himself after hearing Dawn's commitment to Marine justice.
• Dawn and Dragon discussed justice and Haki, and Dragon later freed the hunting ground's prisoners and helped bring down the king.
• Dawn returned to Marine Headquarters, trained in Haki, and joined Aokiji and Garp in confronting Doflamingo over his threat to the Ishtar Kingdom.

• Dawn defeated Moria, secured his loyalty through a Contract, and was promoted to Rear Admiral with Hina, Sola, Hawkins, and other young Marines under his command.
• Dawn recruited Enel, experimented with the Munch-Munch Fruit and Ouroboros, and learned that Gaius’s Abraham family belonged to the D. Clan.
• Dawn met Monet in Crete, learned that Sugar had not eaten the Hobby-Hobby Fruit, and decided to leave the sisters to live ordinary lives.
• Dawn recruited Fisher Tiger and Enel, located Hancock and Gild Tesoro in Mary Geoise, and joined forces with Tom, who agreed to build Pluton for him.
• Dawn’s teams freed slaves from Mary Geoise as Dragon fought Kizaru and Trick delayed Zephyr, allowing the escapees to flee toward Sabaody.
• Dawn gathered nearly three thousand fighters, spent three years fighting pirates, and defeated Bilu before making him sign a Contract.

After killing Oven, Dawn helped prepare for war with Big Mom’s Pirates, then traveled across the seas to gather allies, Devil Fruits, and resources. He unified the West Blue through Enel, defeated Sanjuan Wolf, and ended the arc celebrating with his companions as promotions seemed likely.

• Dawn and Akainu killed Charlotte Oven, escaped Katakuri’s counterattack, and withdrew as the Navy prepared to confront Big Mom’s Pirates.
