Dawn’s group pursued Sanjuan Wolf and his giant warship for more than half a year, making Wolf Dawn’s primary target during that period. 195 210

The group finally encountered him on a deserted island. Dawn opened with Scorching Spears and defensive barriers, but Wolf withstood the barrage and charged through Triple Rashomon. Dawn’s allies—Hina, Sola, Shuuen, Berigood, and Hawkins—then exploited the scale difference through coordinated attacks: corrosion, claws, Haki-infused impacts, iron branches, and injury transfer. These attacks impaired Wolf’s knee and opened wounds, but did not immediately threaten his life. 196 197

After allowing his allies to gain combat experience and weaken Wolf, Dawn ordered them to retreat and activated Return Shattered Battle Song. Dawn subsequently overwhelmed Wolf in close combat, though Wolf remained dangerous enough to counterattack, throw a burning boulder, and mount a final charge. 198 199

Dawn’s True 40-meter High-Frequency Ship-Cutting Blade severed Wolf’s arm and part of his shoulder. Wolf attempted one last attack, but Dawn drove Thousand Wave Slash into the wound, damaging his internal organs, before using White Flame to incinerate him from within. Ouroboros then absorbed Wolf’s immense energy and attribute points; Dawn deliberately abandoned the opportunity to obtain Wolf’s Devil Fruit. 200

Wolf’s death greatly increased Dawn’s physique, stamina, and Armament Haki capacity, while also removing a future Blackbeard Pirates captain before he could reach Impel Down. 201 219
