Android 16 stared expressionlessly at Cell, who had been sent flying, and said calmly, "According to my calculations, my power should be about equal to his!"

Android 17 was a little surprised to hear that.

Android 16 usually kept a low profile. He'd seemed no stronger than the rest of them.

Who would've thought he'd claim to be as powerful as this monster?

"So I'll hold him off for now. You and Android 18 take the chance to run. We absolutely can't let him reach Perfect Form!" Android 16 said calmly.

He finished speaking and slowly walked forward alone.

Then he suddenly pushed off with his feet, his whole body shooting forward like a bullet.

"Hmph!" Cell snorted when he saw Android 16 coming to his death.

The two of them began to fight.

But as soon as they clashed, Cell was even more surprised.

Android 16 was actually incredibly powerful—strong enough to match him blow for blow!

They fought from the ground into the sky.

"Bang!"

A violent crash rang out as Android 16 and Cell grappled, neither one yielding to the other in strength.

Cell was shocked, and couldn't help marveling that Dr. Gero in this world had created such a powerful Android.

At the thought, an idea stirred in his mind. What would happen if I absorbed this guy?

Cell suddenly grew excited. He might as well go all the way.

He abruptly let up, then spun around and kicked Android 16.

Android 16 stumbled back a couple of steps. When he raised his head, Cell's tail shot forward like a whip and stabbed straight into his neck!

"Heh heh!" Cell gave a sinister laugh when he saw that he'd succeeded. "Let me absorb you first!"

A mocking smile tugged at the corner of Android 16's mouth. He tilted his neck, as if he'd let Cell absorb him on purpose.

Cell began absorbing Android 16, but even after trying for a while, he couldn't draw out a single bit of energy.

Suddenly, it dawned on him. "Y-you're a robot?!"

Seeing that Cell had figured it out, Android 16's smile grew even brighter. He grabbed Cell's tail and pulled it out of his neck.

Then he suddenly exerted his strength and slammed Cell hard into the ground.

"Rumble!"

Cell was battered and dizzy, his body nearly falling apart.

While Cell was still catching his breath, Android 16 stepped on his tail.

Then he grabbed the tail with both hands and yanked hard!

"Rip!"

With a sharp sound, Android 16 tore Cell's tail right off!

Android 16 held the severed tail and tossed it aside. The remaining half twitched a couple of times, then went still.

"Now you can't absorb anyone, can you?"

Android 16 spoke calmly to Cell.

Cell lay on the ground, gritting his teeth with a vicious expression. But then he composed himself, a smile still on his face.

He slowly got to his feet and faced Android 16. "Is that so?"

The severed end began to wriggle, then suddenly sprouted a new tail!

Android 16's eyelid twitched. He slowly said, "Looks like the only option is to kill you!"

"Heh!" Cell laughed scornfully. "Then come and try!"

Suddenly, golden light blazed around him as he powered up and shot forward.

He landed a high kick that sent Android 16 off balance, then followed with a punch straight to the face.

The two-move combo knocked Android 16 to the ground, where he lay motionless!

Cell didn't give him a chance to catch his breath. His body shot forward, charging straight at him.

Android 16 suddenly turned and thrust out one fist. A flash of light, and the fist flew off.

"Bang!"

Cell took the flying punch head-on.

Android 16 reattached his arm in an instant.

Then he charged in, punched Cell down, grabbed him with both hands, and lifted him high overhead before slamming him into the ground. Cell was driven straight into the hard earth.

Android 16 pulled his arms apart, revealing a cannon at the end of each one, and aimed them at Cell, buried underground.

"Hell Flash!" Android 16 growled.

In an instant, golden light poured from the cannons.

"Boom!"

Two unstoppable beams erupted and blasted into the ground.

A golden beam of light shot into the sky, turning everything around it gold.

The ground began to split in every direction, like a spiderweb.

Before long, the island was riddled with holes, and pillars of energy kept erupting from the ground.

At last, after an unknown amount of time, the terrifying energy slowly dissipated.

Android 16 calmly reattached his arms!

Android 17 and Android 18 stood there, stunned. They had never realized Android 16 was so powerful.

Under an attack like that, even Cell had probably been blasted to bits.

Seeing the two of them frozen in place, Android 16 reminded them, "Don't just stand there. Hurry up and go!"

Hearing him, Android 18 came back to her senses. She looked at Android 16 and said casually, "There's no need, is there? With energy that powerful, I doubt he survived!"

"Impossible. Don't be stupid. A monster that powerful would only be injured at most!" Android 16 said in a low voice.

He knew exactly how powerful his attack had been.

An attack like that couldn't possibly kill a monster like Cell!

Hearing Android 16's words, Android 18 began to feel uneasy and prepared to persuade Android 17 to leave.

But Android 17 didn't care. After getting beaten so badly, he had to get even!

"So what if he's injured? Then he won't be a match for me!"

Android 17 said dismissively, continuing to taunt him. "Cell, aren't you so strong? Come out! Come out and absorb me!"

He'd decided that if Cell dared show himself, he'd beat him up.

But his taunts got no response. Cell was nowhere to be seen.

Just as Android 17 was looking around for him,

Cell slowly emerged from the hole behind him.

His eyes were bloodshot. Then the tail behind him suddenly swelled and covered Android 17.

"Wuuu!"

Android 17's upper body was already wrapped up, and his voice could no longer be heard.

Android 16 rushed to save him, but he was too late. Cell had already swallowed Android 17 whole!

The instant he swallowed Android 17, Cell began to tremble all over. A flash of light passed over him.

His appearance changed completely. The most striking features were his large black nose and sausage-shaped lips!

Knowing it was too late, Android 16 skidded to a stop.

Then he turned, grabbed Android 18's hand, and ran for his life!
