Android 16 watched Cell being sent flying, his expression impassive as he said calmly, "According to my calculations, my strength should be on par with his."

Android 17 was somewhat surprised to hear this.

Android 16 usually seemed unremarkable, his strength at most comparable to theirs.

Who could have guessed that this guy would claim his strength was equal to this monster!

"Therefore, I will hold him off later; you and Android 18 must seize the chance to run. You absolutely cannot give him the opportunity to reach his Perfect Form," Android 16 said indifferently.

After speaking, he walked forward alone, slowly.

Then, he suddenly pushed off with his feet, his entire body launching forward like a bullet.

"Hmph!" Cell snorted coldly, seeing Android 16 seeking his own death.

The two began to clash.

However, this exchange only served to surprise Cell even more.

Android 16's strength was unexpectedly powerful, actually capable of fighting him to a standstill!

The two fought from the ground up into the sky.

"Bang!"

A violent collision rang out as Android 16 and Cell locked horns, neither yielding an inch in strength.

Cell began to feel shocked, while simultaneously marveling that Dr. Gero in this world had actually created such a powerful Android.

Thinking of this, a thought stirred in his mind: "What would happen if I absorbed this guy?"

Cell suddenly grew excited, deciding to go all the way.

He suddenly pulled back his strength, then spun around and kicked Android 16.

Android 16 retreated two steps, and as he looked up, the tail behind Cell whipped out like a lash, plunging directly into his neck!

"Heh heh!" Cell chuckled sinisterly, seeing his success. "Let me absorb you first!"

A sneer appeared on the corner of Android 16's mouth; he tilted his neck as if he had let Cell absorb him on purpose.

Cell began to absorb Android 16, but after a long while, he hadn't drawn out a single shred of energy.

Suddenly, he realized what was happening and said in shock, "You—you guy, you're actually a robot?!"

Seeing that Cell had caught on, the smile on Android 16's face grew even brighter. He grabbed the tail and pulled it out of his neck.

Then, with a sudden burst of force, he slammed Cell hard into the ground.

"Boom!"

Cell was left dazed and confused, his body nearly falling apart.

While Cell was still gasping for air, Android 16 stepped on his tail.

He grabbed the tail with both hands and pulled with all his might!

"Rip!"

With a sharp sound, Cell's tail was torn right off by Android 16!

Android 16 grabbed the severed tail and tossed it aside; it twitched a few times before going still.

"In that case, you won't be able to absorb anyone, right?"

Android 16 said to Cell indifferently.

Cell lay on the ground, gritting his teeth with a ferocious expression, but then he returned to normal, a smile appearing on his face.

He rose slowly and said to Android 16, "Is that so?"

As he finished speaking, the stump of his tail began to wriggle, and suddenly, a new tail grew out!

Seeing this, Android 16's eyelids twitched, and he spoke slowly, "It seems the only way is to finish you off!"

"Heh!" Cell laughed dismissively. "Then come and try!"

Suddenly, golden light erupted from his body as he powered up.

With a high kick, he knocked Android 16 off balance, then followed up with a punch directly to his face.

Android 16 was knocked to the ground by this two-hit combo, unable to rise!

Cell didn't give him a chance to breathe, shooting forward to charge at him.

Android 16 suddenly turned his head and extended a fist; with a flash of light, the fist actually flew off.

"Bang!"

Cell took the flying punch head-on.

Android 16 reattached his arm, snapping it back into place instantly.

He immediately rushed forward, knocked Cell down with a punch, grabbed him with both hands, lifted him high, and slammed him into the ground with great force, burying Cell deep into the hard earth.

Android 16 detached his forearms, revealing two cannon ports, and aimed them at the buried Cell.

"Hell Flash!" Android 16 growled in a low voice.

In an instant, a golden radiance erupted from his cannon.

"BOOM!"

Two peerless beams of light emerged, slamming into the ground below.

A golden light shot into the sky, turning everything in the surroundings to gold.

The entire ground began to fracture in every direction, resembling a spiderweb.

Before long, the small island was riddled with holes, with pillars of energy continuously erupting from the earth.

Finally, after an unknown amount of time, the terrifying energy began to slowly dissipate.

Android 16 calmly reattached his arm!

Android 17 and Android 18 were now frozen in place; they had no idea that Android 16 possessed such immense power.

Under an impact like that, even Cell would surely have been blasted to dust.

Seeing the two of them standing there like fools, Android 16 spoke up to remind them, "Don't just stand there, hurry up and leave!"

Hearing the warning, Android 18 snapped out of it and said to Android 16 with a relaxed tone, "There's no need for that, is there? With energy that powerful, I doubt that guy could have survived!"

"That's impossible. Don't be naive; a monster that powerful would at most have only suffered some injuries!" Android 16 barked in a low voice.

He was very clear about the extent of his own attack.

Against a monster like Cell, an attack like that could never kill him!

Hearing Android 16's words, Android 18 began to feel uneasy and prepared to persuade Android 17 to leave.

However, Android 17 was currently reckless and indifferent; after being beaten so miserably just moments ago, he was determined to get his revenge!

"If he's injured, then he's no match for me!"

Android 17 said dismissively, continuing to shout, "Cell, aren't you so tough? Come out! Come out and absorb me!"

He decided that as long as Cell dared to show his face, he would rush up and give him a sound beating.

However, his taunts received no response; Cell's figure was nowhere to be seen at the scene.

Just as he was looking left and right, searching for a silhouette, Cell slowly crawled out from the hole behind him.

His eyes were now glowing red, and his tail suddenly expanded, slamming down over Android 17.

"Mmph!"

Android 17's upper body was already engulfed, and his voice could no longer be heard.

Seeing this, Android 16 immediately rushed to the rescue, but he was a step too late; Android 17's entire body had already been swallowed by Cell!

The moment he devoured Android 17, Cell began to tremble all over, and then a flash of light erupted.

His entire appearance changed completely, the most prominent features being his large black nose and sausage lips!

Knowing it was too late, Android 16 came to a dead stop.

He then turned around, grabbed Android 18's hand, and fled backward with all his might!
