"Fuse with you? You think you're worthy?" Android 17 mocked, pointing his thumb at himself. "I'm the strongest warrior. Why would I need to fuse with you?"
Hearing that, Cell gave a sinister smile and shook his head. He'd never intended to absorb them peacefully.
It looked like he'd have to use force after all!
"In that case, I'll just have to do it myself!" Cell said, dropping all pretense.
Android 17 didn't care in the slightest. He beckoned to Cell. "Then come and try!"
Seeing Android 17 stay put instead of running away, and even taunt Cell, Piccolo cursed him as an idiot in his heart.
Cell was ready to fight. He was confident he could defeat Android 17 and absorb him.

Android 17 fought back fiercely, charging in with a punch.
But Cell was incredibly fast and dodged in an instant.
For a moment, Android 17 lost sight of him and had no idea where he'd gone.
Suddenly, Cell dropped from the sky and knocked Android 17 flat with a punch.
Then he pinned Android 17's head down and began beating him mercilessly!
Seeing Android 17 utterly defeated, Android 18 grew worried. "Looks like we really have to run!"
Without even turning his head, Android 16 calmly said, "Once you're gone, Cell won't be able to transform into his Perfect Form. He won't be able to rule the world."
"What about you?" Android 18 asked worriedly.
Android 16 smiled confidently. "I'll deal with him!"

Android 16 smiled at him, stepped forward, and punched him square in the face.
The blow made Cell see stars, and he went flying across the ground!
"Damn it!" Cell quickly got to his feet. Seeing that Android 16 was the one who had attacked him, he sneered, "Another fool who doesn't know when to quit!"
Lying on the ground, Android 17 saw Android 16 coming to his rescue and hurriedly said, "Take Android 18 and get out of here! You're no match for him!"
"Fighting him now is just asking to die!"
