At 10 a.m., the Frieza Force and the Cooler Force clashed in a fierce battle.
"Lord Neiz, your subordinate Anliede has an important matter to report."
A man wearing a legion commander's Battle Suit came to Neiz's room and called out.
Hearing the snores from inside, Anliede realized Neiz still hadn't woken up and went to find Delei instead.
Five minutes later.
"Lord Delei, our vanguard has already engaged the Frieza Force."
Anliede called from outside Ginyu's room.
Anliede went to Delei because Delei and Neiz were both members of Cooler's Armored Squadron. Delei could temporarily take command of the troops in Neiz's place, and when Neiz woke up and learned that Delei had been in command, he wouldn't blame him.
"Neiz still hasn't woken up?"
Ginyu asked.
"Reporting to you, Lord Neiz still hasn't woken up. I came to ask what you'd like us to do: destroy this Frieza Force unit or retreat."
Anliede looked at Ginyu as he asked.
"Retreat? When has the Cooler Force ever feared the Frieza Force? Since Neiz hasn't woken up, I'll take command in his place. Relay my order: destroy this Frieza Force unit."
Ginyu said.
"Yes, sir."
Anliede replied.
"Prince Leige, set up an ambush. I'll lead the Cooler Force into your trap, and we'll destroy this Cooler Force unit from within and without."
After confirming that Anliede had left, Ginyu put on a Frieza Force Scouter and spoke to Leige.
"Captain Ginyu, stay safe. When you return, we'll hold a celebration in your honor."
Leige said.
"Good. I'll even perform a dance I just came up with."
Ginyu replied.
What a shame, Ginyu. I won't let you come back alive.
After two hours of fierce fighting between the Frieza Force and the Cooler Force, the Frieza Force retreated.
"Lord Delei, the Frieza Force has retreated. Should we pursue them?"
Anliede asked Ginyu.
"Pursue them! Destroy the Frieza Force."
Ginyu ordered.
"My lord, should we leave some troops behind in case the Frieza Force has set a trap?"
The green-haired man beside Anliede asked. He was wearing a legion commander's Battle Suit.
"Elite, if you're scared, stay behind with your Seventh Legion and be ready to support us."
Anliede said to the green-haired man.
"Anliede, I'm not scared. The Frieza Force is cunning. I'm just worried they might be pretending to retreat while secretly laying an ambush."
Elite replied.
"That's enough, Anliede. You and the Eighth Legion stay behind and be ready to support us."
Ginyu said.
Ginyu was taking Elite along to pursue the Frieza Force because he wanted to kill him without anyone noticing. He left Anliede behind because he knew Anliede would come to support the Cooler Force once it was ambushed. That way, he could wipe out two of Cooler's legions at once.
"Yes, sir."
Anliede replied.
Two hours later.
"Prince Leige, the Fifth Legion has finished setting up the ambush. Now we just have to wait for the Cooler Force."
Gele said.
Although Leige was only a commander in Gele's Fourth Legion, he was also the king's adopted son. Gele wouldn't dare show him any disrespect. If the king found out he'd slighted Prince Leige, he'd be as good as dead.
"Good. Engage the Cooler Force for a while, then draw them into the ambush."
Leige said.
"Yes, sir."
Gele replied.
Two hours later.
"Boom! Boom! Boom!"
"Boom!"
The Frieza Force and the Cooler Force clashed again.
"Boom! Boom!"
"Boom!"
Leige got to indulge his love of playing live-fire shooting games once again.
Thirty minutes later.
"Retreat!"
Leige ordered.
The Fourth Legion withdrew toward the ambush site, with the Cooler Force continuing to pursue the Frieza Force.
"I have something important to discuss with Neiz. Don't disturb us, or you'll die!"
Ginyu said to Elite and the officers of the Seventh Legion.
"Yes, sir."
Elite and the others replied.
Five minutes later.
"Neiz, I have something important to discuss with you."
Ginyu went to Neiz's room and spoke to him, though Neiz had only just woken up.
"What is it?"
Neiz asked.
"Pfft!"
Ginyu punched through Neiz's chest.
"Delei, why? Why did you kill me?"
Neiz asked Delei.
"Because I'm not Delei at all. Delei is already dead. I'm Captain Ginyu of the Ginyu Force."
Ginyu said.
When he was done, Ginyu fired an energy blast from his hand and reduced Neiz to ash.
An hour later.
"Boom! Boom!"
"Boom!"
The Cooler Force entered the ambush site, and dozens of its battleships were destroyed in an instant.
"Lord Delei, we've been ambushed. What do we do?"
Elite asked Ginyu.
"Get Anliede to support us! Hurry!"
Ginyu shouted.
"Yes, sir!"
Elite replied.
He immediately went to contact Anliede.
"R-Reporting, Legion Commander! The Seventh Legion sent a message saying they've been ambushed by the Frieza Force!"
A communications operator said to Anliede.
"Relay my order: rush to the Seventh Legion's aid!"
Anliede ordered.
"Yes, sir!"
The operator replied.
Ten minutes later.
"Lord Delei, Legion Commander Anliede sent word that they'll reach us in an hour."
Elite told Ginyu.
"Tell the men that reinforcements will arrive in an hour. Have them hold out. Elite, come with me. I have something important to tell you."
Ginyu said to Elite.
"Yes, sir."
Elite replied.
Then Elite followed Ginyu away.
Five minutes later, in Ginyu's room.
"My lord, what did you want to tell me?"
Elite asked.
"Pfft!"
Ginyu quickly punched through Elite's chest.
"My lord... why...?"
Elite stammered.
"Listen carefully. I'm not Delei. I'm Captain Ginyu of the Ginyu Force."
Ginyu said.
As soon as he finished speaking, Ginyu fired an energy blast from his hand and reduced Elite to ash as well.
Then Ginyu cut off the communications systems aboard the spaceship and began slaughtering the Cooler Force soldiers.
"Activate the Energy Heavy Cannon and destroy the enemy spaceships."
Leige ordered.
Some Energy Heavy Cannons were powerful enough to destroy a planet, but the spaceship Leige and the others were on wasn't equipped with one of those.
"Yes, sir!"
Gele replied.
"Boom!"
A powerful yellow energy blast shot toward the Cooler Force's spaceship.
"Leige!"
Ginyu roared as he watched the yellow energy blast fly toward him.
Ginyu understood now: Leige had been trying to use the opportunity to get rid of him. But it was too late to contact Frieza.
"Boom!"
A few seconds later, the Seventh Legion's spaceship was destroyed, and the shock wave from the explosion also destroyed the surrounding battleships.
"That firework display is every bit as good as a planet-sized one."
Leige said.
"Prince Leige, scouts spotted another Cooler Force legion heading this way."
Gele said, coming over to Leige.
"Destroy them."
Leige ordered.
It took Leige and the others two hours to wipe out Anliede's Eighth Legion.
Frieza Planet No. 4.
"Little brother, we meet again. This time, your big brother is going to kill you."
Cooler said, looking at Frieza.
"Cooler, you beat me last time because I wasn't using my full power. Do you dare fight me now that I am?"
Frieza said.
"Why wouldn't I?"
Cooler replied.
"Haaaa!"
Frieza began powering up.
A minute later, Frieza transformed into his muscular form.
"This is my full power."
Frieza said.
"Use the large Scouter aboard the spaceship to measure Frieza's current power level."
Cooler shouted to the soldiers nearby.
A minute later.
"My king, the crew aboard the spaceship says Frieza's current power level is 120 million."
A soldier reported.
"120 million? That's a very high power level, but you're still no match for me. Frieza, do you know my power level?"
Cooler asked.
"I don't know, and I don't want to know."
Frieza said,
"Since you're about to die, I'll tell you. My power level is 170 million right now, and my power level in my Final Form is 340 million."
Cooler said,
"Damn it!"
Frieza snarled.
Frieza punched at Cooler.
Thud!
Cooler caught Frieza's punch, then sent him flying more than a hundred meters with a single blow.
"This time, I'll definitely kill you."
Cooler said.
"A-da-da-da!"
Frieza and Cooler clashed again. Since their power levels differed by fifty million, Frieza was the one getting beaten the whole time.
Twenty minutes later.
"How about it?"
Cooler said, looking at Frieza, who was covered in wounds.
