Frieza and Cooler's Battle (3)

At 10 o'clock, the Frieza Force and the Cooler Force met and engaged in a fierce battle.

"Lord Neiz, your subordinate Anliede has an urgent matter to report."

A man wearing a legion commander's combat suit arrived outside Neiz's room and called out.

Hearing the snoring from inside the room, Anliede realized Neiz had not yet woken up and went to find Delei instead.

Five minutes later.

"Lord Delei, our vanguard has already engaged the Frieza Force in battle."

Anliede arrived outside Ginyu's room and called out.

Anliede had come to find Delei because both Delei and Neiz were members of Cooler's Armored Squadron; he could let Delei temporarily command the troops in Neiz's stead, and Neiz wouldn't blame him once he woke up and learned who had been in charge.

"Hasn't Neiz woken up yet?"

Ginyu asked.

"Reporting to you, my lord, Lord Neiz has not yet woken. I have come specifically to ask for your instructions: should our army annihilate this Frieza Force unit or retreat?"

Anliede looked at Ginyu and asked.

"Retreat? How could the Cooler Force fear the Frieza Force? Since Neiz hasn't woken up yet, I will command the troops for him. Pass the order: annihilate this Frieza Force unit."

Ginyu said.

"Yes."

Anliede said.

"Prince Leige, set your ambush. I will lead the Cooler Force into your trap, and we will destroy this Cooler Force unit from the inside out."

After confirming that Anliede had left, Ginyu put on a Frieza Force scouter and spoke to Leige.

"Captain Ginyu, stay safe. We will hold a victory celebration for you when you return."

Leige said.

"Very well. I'll perform a new dance I've come up with just for you all then."

Ginyu said.

What a pity, Ginyu. I won't let you come back alive.

Leige thought to himself.

After the Frieza Force and the Cooler Force had been locked in fierce combat for two hours, the Frieza Force retreated.

"Lord Delei, the Frieza Force has retreated. Shall we pursue them?"

Anliede asked Ginyu.

"Pursue! Annihilate the Frieza Force."

Ginyu said.

"My lord, should we leave some troops behind in case the Frieza Force has set an ambush?"

A green-haired man wearing a legion commander's combat suit beside Anliede asked.

"Elite, if you're afraid, you can stay behind with your Seventh Legion and prepare to support us."

Anliede said to the green-haired man.

"Anliede, I'm not afraid. The Frieza Force is cunning; I'm just worried they are feigning retreat to set an ambush in secret."

Elite said.

"Enough. Anliede, you and the Eighth Legion stay behind and prepare to support us at any time."

Ginyu said.

The reason Ginyu took Elite to pursue the Frieza Force was to eliminate him in secret, and he left Anliede behind because Ginyu knew Anliede would certainly come to support the Cooler Force once they fell into the ambush, which would allow him to wipe out two Cooler Force legions at once.

"Yes."

Anliede said.

Two hours later.

"Prince Leige, the Fifth Legion has set the ambush. They are just waiting for the Cooler Force."

Gele said.

Although Leige was only a regimental commander in Gele's Fourth Legion, he held the status of the King's adopted son. Gele dared not be disrespectful in front of Leige; if the King found out he had been disrespectful to Prince Leige, it would be a miracle if he weren't killed.

"Good. Fight the Cooler Force for a while, then lure them toward the ambush zone."

Leige said.

"Yes."

Gele said.

Two hours later.

"Boom! Boom! Boom!"

"Boom!"

The Frieza Force and Cooler Force engaged in a fierce battle once again.

"Boom! Boom!"

"Boom!"

Leige was once again indulging in the thrill of playing a real-life shooting game.

Thirty minutes later.

"Retreat!"

Leige commanded.

The Fourth Legion withdrew toward the ambush zone, while the Cooler Force continued their pursuit of the Frieza Force.

"I have important matters to discuss with Neiz. Do not disturb us, or you die!"

Ginyu said to Elite and the officers of the Seventh Legion.

"Understood."

Elite and the others replied.

Five minutes later.

"Neiz, I have urgent business to discuss with you."

Ginyu arrived at Neiz's room and spoke to the just-awakened Neiz.

"What is it?"

Neiz asked.

"Squelch!"

Ginyu punched a hole through Neiz's chest.

"Delei, why? Why did you kill me?"

Neiz asked Delei.

"Because I am not Delei at all. Delei is already dead. I am the captain of the Ginyu Force: Ginyu."

Ginyu said.

After finishing his sentence, Ginyu fired an energy wave from his hand, blasting Neiz into smithereens.

One hour later.

"Boom boom!"

"Boom!"

The Cooler Force entered the ambush zone, and in an instant, dozens of their warships were destroyed.

"Lord Delei, we've been ambushed! What should we do?"

Elite asked Ginyu.

"Quickly have Anliede support us, hurry!"

Ginyu ordered.

"Yes!"

Elite replied.

Elite went off to contact Anliede immediately.

"Re-report, Legion Commander, the Seventh Legion has sent a transmission saying they have been ambushed by the Frieza Force."

A radio operator said to Anliede.

"Pass on this Legion Commander's order: move at full speed to support the Seventh Legion."

Anliede commanded.

"Yes!"

The radio operator replied.

Ten minutes later.

"Lord Delei, Legion Commander Anliede sent a transmission saying they will arrive in one hour."

Elite said to Ginyu.

"Tell the brothers that reinforcements will arrive in an hour. Tell them to hold the line. Elite, come with me; I have important matters to entrust to you."

Ginyu said to Elite.

"Yes."

Elite replied.

Following this, Elite walked away with Ginyu.

Five minutes later, in Ginyu's quarters.

"My lord, do you have any orders for your subordinate?" Elite asked.

"Pfft!"

Ginyu threw a lightning-fast punch, piercing straight through Elite's chest.

"My lord... w-why?" Elite gasped.

"Listen well, I am not Delei. I am the captain of the Ginyu Force: Ginyu," Ginyu declared.

With that, Ginyu fired an energy blast from his hand, vaporizing Elite into dust.

Afterward, Ginyu severed the spaceship's communication system and began slaughtering the soldiers of the Cooler Force.

"Activate the energy cannons and destroy the enemy spaceship," Leige ordered.

Some energy cannons possessed the power to destroy an entire planet, though the ship Leige and his men were on was not equipped with such weaponry.

"Yes, sir!" Gele replied.

"Boom!"

A powerful yellow energy beam streaked toward the Cooler Force's spaceship.

"Leige!" Ginyu roared as he watched the yellow energy beam hurtling toward him.

At that moment, Ginyu realized that Leige was taking the opportunity to eliminate him, but it was already too late to contact Frieza.

"Kaboom!"

A few seconds later, the Seventh Legion's spaceship of the Cooler Force was destroyed, and the surrounding warships were obliterated by the shockwave of the explosion.

"These fireworks are no worse than planetary ones," Leige remarked.

"Prince Leige, scouts have detected another Cooler Force unit heading this way," Gele said, approaching Leige.

"Wipe them out," Leige commanded.

Following this, Leige and his men spent two hours annihilating Anliede's Eighth Legion.

Frieza Planet No. 4.

"Little brother, we meet again. This time, your big brother is going to kill you," Cooler said, looking at Frieza.

"Cooler, the last time you defeated me, it was because I hadn't used my full combat power. Do you dare to fight me now that I am using my full strength?" Frieza challenged.

"Why wouldn't I?" Cooler replied.

"Haa!" Frieza began to power up.

A minute later, Frieza transformed into his muscular form.

"This is my full combat power," Frieza stated.

"Use the large-scale scanners on the ship to measure Frieza's current combat power," Cooler shouted to a soldier nearby.

A minute later.

"My Lord, the crew on the ship says Frieza's current combat power is 120 million," the soldier reported.

"Oh, 120 million. A very strong combat power, but not enough to be my match. Frieza, do you know what my current combat power is?" Cooler asked.

"I don't know, and I don't care to know."

Frieza spoke.

"In consideration of your impending death, this King shall tell you: my current combat power is 170 million, and my final form's combat power is 340 million."

Cooler spoke.

"Damn it!"

Frieza roared in anger.

Frieza threw a punch toward Cooler.

"Bang!"

After catching Frieza's incoming punch, Cooler sent Frieza flying over a hundred meters away with a single strike.

"This time, I will definitely kill you."

Cooler said.

"A-da-da-da!"

Frieza and Cooler began to fight once more, but because of the 50 million difference in combat power, it was Frieza who was constantly taking the beating.

Twenty minutes later.

"How is it?"

Cooler looked at the battered and bruised Frieza and said.

"Apocart, are you still not coming to help this King!"
