Frieza vs. King Cold (II)

"Let Leige come in."

King Vegeta said to the Saiyan outside the room.

"Understood. The prince may enter."

The Saiyan outside the room replied.

"Greetings, Father."

Leige knelt on one knee before King Vegeta.

"Rise."

King Vegeta helped Leige to his feet.

"Thank you, Father."

Leige said.

"Greetings, Prince."

The Saiyans beside King Vegeta greeted Leige.

"Rise, all of you."

Leige said.

"Thank you, Prince."

The Saiyans replied.

"Leige, take this!"

Vegeta suddenly punched at Leige.

"Bang!"

Leige dodged Vegeta's punch, then struck him in the stomach. Vegeta immediately passed out from the pain.

"The prince is amazing. He knocked out the second prince with just one move."

One Saiyan said.

"The prince's battle power keeps getting stronger."

Another Saiyan said.

"Leige, I heard from an officer in the Frieza Force that your battle power has reached five hundred thousand. Is that true?"

King Vegeta asked.

"Five hundred thousand battle power? The prince's battle power has already reached five hundred thousand? No Saiyan in our history has ever reached that level, and the prince is only three years old!"

Paragus exclaimed in shock.

"Could the prince be the Legendary Super Saiyan from the prophecy?"

A Saiyan nearby said. He had a crab-shaped head and a small cross-shaped scar on his face.

"Are you Bardock?"

Leige asked, looking at the Saiyan who looked exactly like the grown-up Kakarot from the future.

"Your Highness, I'm Bardock, captain of the First Squad, Third Squadron, First Platoon."

Bardock knelt on one knee.

Saiyans had always respected strength. With a battle power of five hundred thousand, Leige was now the strongest Saiyan on Planet Vegeta.

"What's your battle power?"

Leige helped Bardock up, then asked him.

"Leige, though Bardock is a Low-Class Warrior, he's fought hard and steadily. His battle power has now reached five thousand."

King Vegeta said.

"Father, I'm short on people at my side. Why not assign Captain Bardock to me?"

Leige said.

"Captain Bardock, from now on, you'll serve the prince and follow his orders."

King Vegeta said.

"Understood."

Bardock replied.

"Leige, you haven't answered me yet. Has your battle power really reached five hundred thousand?"

King Vegeta asked him again.

"Father, my battle power is already far beyond Frieza's. Killing him would be as easy as crushing an ant."

Leige said.

"Four months ago, you said you'd need five years to defeat Frieza. How can you be confident you can beat him when only four months have passed?"

King Vegeta asked Leige.

"More than two months ago, Frieza took me to Longji Planet. During the battle there, I was on the brink of death. After returning from the edge, my battle power increased dramatically. Now it surpasses Frieza's."

Leige said.

"Prince, what's your battle power now?"

Paragus asked Leige.

"If I use my full power, my battle power can reach thirty billion."

Leige said.

"What?!"

The Saiyans in King Vegeta's room exclaimed in shock.

The highest battle power among the Saiyans was only one hundred thousand, and that was the battle power of a Saiyan with ten thousand power after transforming into a Great Ape. Now the prince's battle power had reached thirty billion—three million times greater than that of a Saiyan with ten thousand power.

"Leige, our people have always believed that the strongest should rule. Your battle power has surpassed mine, so from this moment on, you are the new king of the Saiyans."

King Vegeta said.

He said this to test whether Leige had any desire to take the throne.

"Father, I'm still young. The Saiyans still need you."

Leige said.

Leige knew King Vegeta had no intention of handing him the throne yet. He had only said those words to test him. King Vegeta had been in power for nearly twenty years. He wouldn't give up the throne easily; even if he planned to pass it to his own son, he would still put it off for a while.

"Your Majesty, though the prince's battle power has surpassed that of every Saiyan on Planet Vegeta, he's still too young and doesn't know how to govern the planet. He still needs you to teach him."

Paragus said.

"That's right, Your Majesty. The prince is only three years old. How could a three-year-old know how to govern Planet Vegeta?"

A fat Saiyan said.

"Father, why not wait until I'm an adult before passing the throne to me?"

Leige said.

"Very well. When the prince comes of age, I'll pass the throne to him."

King Vegeta said.

"Your Majesty, the prince's battle power has already surpassed Frieza's. I beg you to order the destruction of Frieza and King Cold so the Saiyans can rule the universe."

Paragus said.

The Saiyans in King Vegeta's room shouted.

"Leige, what do you think?"

King Vegeta asked him.

"Father, Frieza sent us to attack the Cold Force as his vanguard. He's just using us as cannon fodder. Frieza has shown us no mercy, so we owe him none. Let's rebel against him and rule the universe ourselves."

Leige said.

Leige and King Vegeta then discussed rebelling against Frieza once they reached Planet Cold 6.

"Attack!"

King Vegeta shouted.

At his command, the Saiyans piloted the battle cruisers Frieza had assigned them and charged toward Planet Cold 6.

"Boom!"

"Rumble!"
