When the headmaster questioned her, Astoria's fingers twisted together. Her long lashes fluttered faintly, and her white teeth bit at her lip as she stammered without managing to say anything.
"Headmaster Harris, you know the situation in the Greengrass family... Because of the Blood Curse, we're very resistant to this kind of magic that transforms a person into an animal. We're worried it will speed up the Blood Curse and make it impossible for her to return to human form." Seeing her sister's expression, Daphne explained in Astoria's place, but in her distress she anxiously asked, "Headmaster Harris, you promised back then that you'd help Astoria resolve this Blood Curse... May I ask how far things have progressed?"
"Not very far..." Allen shook his head and explained before she could speak. "One of my original reasons for having you take part in the Animagus Transformation was precisely because of the Greengrass family's blood curse..."
"Headmaster Harris... you mean?" Daphne's grip on Astoria's arm tightened, and her voice trembled slightly. "Becoming an Animagus is related to curing the Blood Curse on Astoria?"
