A few days later, the renovation and expansion projects at Hogwarts were completed one after another. And as some of the work was finished, construction moved faster and faster, because the Dementors freed up from those projects were thrown into the building of the others.
Harris Castle, standing on the island at the center of the Black Lake, had also been completed smoothly. From afar, with clear lake water, lush forest, and a castle rising from the surface of the water, it was as beautiful as a dream, adding yet another scenic view to Hogwarts.
In the expanded area of Hogwarts, Allen accompanied a group of headmasters and members of the international Animagus symposium whom he had invited, giving them a tour of the new school.
After they emerged into the newly built commercial plaza south of Hogwarts, connected to Ravenclaw's enormous temple, Igor Karkaroff in particular was unstinting with his praise. He completely ignored the fact that the new plaza was overly large and still looked deserted because few people had moved in, and instead kept praising its vastness. "Hogwarts is now truly the world's number one magic school, whether in scale or quality of teaching..." At this point, Karkaroff seemed to realize that, as the headmaster of Durmstrang, saying this was rather shameless, so he gave a dry cough. "In fact, I believe its scale now makes it the only true city in our Wizarding World that belongs to us wizards... Those wizarding settlements, villages and towns and whatnot, simply amount to nothing compared with this university city."
"It reminds me of a small town in Austria's Upper Austria, in the Salzkammergut region, where quite a few wizards live—the town of Hallstatt on the shore of Lake Hallstatt. The Black Lake is the same; the peaks here and
