"Morgan le Fay, you didn't have much of an appetite, so I made you some gazpacho." Penelope carried a bowl of thick orange-red soup out of the kitchen and set it in front of Morgan le Fay, who was half reclining on the sofa with her belly thrust out. "It's a specialty of Andalusia in southern Spain, and one of the local home-style dishes. It's usually better suited for hot seasons, but since you don't have an appetite and like sour flavors, it works just right. In Spanish it's called gazpacho, and it's also known as a liquid salad. It's cool and refreshing, and the fresh scent of the vegetables is very appetizing."

Unlike her usual cold, arrogant attitude toward others, Penelope always lowered and softened her voice whenever she faced Allen's mother, sounding much gentler than normal—so soft it even seemed a little fake. Hermione, sitting cross-legged on the floor beside the coffee table and writing something, pursed her lips at that.

"Ha, does the baby know something tasty is coming? They're saying hello to you." A clear bulge rose on her towering belly. Morgan le Fay stroked it and watched the program on the television. "My sons and daughters are all unreliable. I've been relying on you to take care of me all this time."

The pregnant woman's eyes paused in turn on Daisy, Emily, and even Fleur in the hall, making all of them very uncomfortable.

"Morgan le Fay, there's a question I've really wanted to ask you." Penelope, rarely, sounded a little bashful.

Though Morgan le Fay was somewhat surprised, she still asked pleasantly, "What do you want to ask, dear?"
